Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

I see many other posts on here about the same thing. Why do establishments who serve food let their restaurants look filthy, smell, and have sticky floors? Anytime I've come here, which have been many, has been the same. It smells like dirty water that hasn't been rinsed from the mop. The floors were sticky and the counter top and table tops were not cleaned either had crumbs all over them and you can see grime on them. This is not acceptable period. I don't blame the workers because leadership apparently sets the bar of what's expected anywhere you work and at this location the bar is very low. If your dinning area and counter top are like this then I can only think your workers don't have good hygiene either. I've been to other tropical smoothie locations like Commack and Merrick. They were spotless. Please dnt respond with an apology. Instead make actual changes. Otherwise you lost 1 customer and...

Ordered a meal on their app, no one else’s app. An hour+ later the items were cancelled because they “never got” my order. Problem is, they use DoorDash to handle their deliveries and DoorDash showed up to get the order and they couldn’t provide it, so the only people who didn’t know I ordered something was the very restaurant who owns the app. I called to see what happened and their answer was, “DoorDash came here and we didn’t have an order, so we cancelled it”. They said they’ll let the manager know and then hung up without resolve to the issue. Who wants lunch that...

So I ordered from Uber eats I order my usual Detox Island green shake as well as my turkey bacon ranch sandwich. Usually I have a good experience with them but this time not so much. The sandwich they put out is unacceptable the bun of the sandwich was stale, The turkey did not taste fresh didn’t taste any ranch dressing that usually goes on it. So when I called to speak to the manager I was told that the manager wasn’t in and they have a shift leader. Hung up call back again and asked to speak to the shift leader she tells me she is why wouldn’t you tell me that at the beginning so it makes me feel that she was hiding that was she was an authority figure and not even an apologize at the sandwich was unacceptable.
