Chicken Coop — Restaurant in Town of Somers

I should note I've eaten here 3/4 times prior all with fantastic service and great food. However, today all of that went out the window and now I don't ever plan on returning. I called in 5:15 was told my order would be 15-20min. I arrive promptly pay for my food and am told it will be only a few minutes till my food will be out to the car. I sat in my car for almost 20 minutes. When I walked inside there was 0 staff in the front and I heard them laughing and making jokes doing nothing. The 1st person who spoke to me when I came back in seemed to have no idea what I was waiting the second she got to the back the laughing and jokes kept on as I stood there waiting. The 2nd person comes out says its will be right out and again more jokes and out of 4 people 3 of them are doing what seems to be nothing. I understand covid and this being close to rush hour time and taking time to prepare food and what not, but this service is simply unacceptable. Please don't tell me it will 20 minutes when its not even close. Then When I arrive tell me its just a min knowing full well its not. I don't like being lied to or mislead. Please just tell me its 40min from the start and I can just show at the proper time and not feel completly insulted.

Nice local place some unique items, unfortunately a little on the pricey side for a take out place.

Inside is clean and well kept, my order was ready quicker than the 15min quoted.

Orderd: Hot wings (bone in) - they were good size wings and while I would get them again I would not send you there for the wings alone.

Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich - slaw on the sandwich was the star, I don't know if this was supposed to be hot (temperature wise) but by the time I got home it was cool.

i love the food here. but the the staff is unfortunately terrible. it was bad one time, decided to give it another try glad i did so I thought. I'm always on the go so I do the online order. the past few times the staff said they didn't get the order yet they can't confirm that can't confirm that, just keeps taping on tablet saying nothing another staff member does understand English. i don't like leaving bad reviews like this but it keeps happening. my hopes is that this can be corrected. I really do like patronizing local businesses within my community but cant when things like this keep happening i have ordered the same thing...
