SOTO Sushi & Hibachi Lounge — Restaurant in Town of Somers

Absolute disaster. SCAM FOR YOUR MONEY!

This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the staff was unwelcoming and inattentive. When we sat the chef came out before even taking our order and didn’t even bother to bring us water, which should be a basic standard at any restaurant. Took us asking 2 different people to even get it.

The interior design was an eyesore, and an overall unpleasant atmosphere. The food was just as bad, if not worse. The hibachi chef seemed inexperienced, even burning himself during the performance. To make things even more unappetizing, there were eggshells in the fried rice! Speaking of food, the portions were ridiculously small for the outrageous prices, and we were forced to choose between fried rice or noodles instead of getting both.

Overall, they are unbearably unorganized the service was terrible, the food was inedible, and the entire experience was a complete waste of time and money. Save yourself the disappointment and...

Wow beautiful interior! Food was not good. Hibachi disaster, Food was over cooked and un seasoned. Salt and pepper is a requirement that they over look. Lobster tail un edible first on flat top last to come off. Filet mush.

The hibachi chef came out and forgot one entree forcing him to go back to the kitchen 2x and still forgetting items. Proteins over cooked and not seasoned. I complained about the mushy filet literally like a sponge and of course no manager to speak to. I will not be returning $140 for three people on my daughter's birthday...

I have been twice. The space is so beautiful and brings the vibes. This first time we had Liam as a waiter and he made the drink which we're delicious. He also gave is such great service which is so important to me when we go out to eat. The next time we tried hibachi and bought three kids. They were sooo accommodating and the chef was friendly to the kids. Now on to the most important part the food. It was delicious my favorite is the Kani mango salad!!! But, everything was so tasty.
