The atmosphere was nice. The decor was cute. The service was mediocre. It wasn't awful, but it should have been better considering the place was empty. We were asked if we wanted bread for the table, and we said yes but didn't get any. The food was not good at all. My wife had steak tidbits for an appetizer, and the meat was all dried out. She asked for it medium rare and it was a little pink on the inside but somehow like beef jerky to chew it. My son had mozzarella sticks, and they were your standard frozen premade stuff you can buy in a supermarket. Not terrible, but not the quality you would expect for the prices they charge. The hamburger was burnt on the outside and like dry sawdust on the inside, and we asked for it medium. I feel if you are paying 23+ dollars for a burger, it should be cooked to the temperature you requested and juicy. That was not the case here. My burger was medium rare as requested but it was so dry and totally charbroiled on the outside that it looked like charcoal. Not tasty at all. We had to wait forever for our waiterss to show her face just so we could pay and there was only 4 tables at this point. Then wait again to actually pay. We left there hungry it was so bad. All in the experience here was upscale pricing at inferior quality food. We not be...
Read moreHey there all, time to try a new place. We actually came here as a backup, or first choice was closed tonight.
We have been driving by Joe's for a few years, each time saying that we have to try it, well tonight we did.
Joe's has a wonderful pub like feel inside with a welcoming outdoor patio that has 5 to 6 tables. We sat and were greeted by our waitress Jessica. Jamie took very good care of our table as well. Some coming from the local brewery, we did not order any drinks.
Our order consisted of the baked clam dip which was hot, moist and delicious. They clams were in a nice elongated baking dish, covered with cheese and a generous portion of chips.
For dinner, my wife had the large salad with grilled chicken which she enjoyed. I decided to go for the rack of lamb, glad I did. The dish consisted of 4 pairs 8 total) of delicious lamb chops seasoned perfectly. I got 2v sides, fries and Mac n cheese. The fried were crispy and the nac a big yum!
The service was great and very pleasant! In glad we finally got a chance to eat...
Read moreJoe's is a very nice place! This is a very cozy can be romantic place! It's not huge but it has a bar and the food is really really good! I can't even start. Everything they make is very impressive! The aged Rib eye steak the huge pot pie it goes on with the wow factor! I don't normally say everything is really good but this time that's what it is. The people who work there are really nice and quick. Big smiles when you walk in. If you're going on a Friday or Saturday call first it does get busy but what do you expect from a wonderful place. The wine is really good and large variety to choose from, a big glass or a bottle. Also on the menu they have what the wine tastes like under the name of the wine so if your new to trying wine there no guessing game and it's easy to pick your flavor. Definitely have to try this place if you're out there! Thanks for another great dinner Joe's!...
