I just have to say......i hate leaving bad reviews. I always try to support neighborhood spots but Panera Bread as a Franchise can do better. I ordered from this place regularly. Sometimes $80-$100 an order. I did the 3 strike rule before it became on my boycott list. But i didn't boycott ALL Panera Breads....just this one. The last strike....happened months ago. I chose not to file a complaint with company and just stopped giving them my money. But i realized how much it affected me.....because i still refuse. This last time was with the manager Gregand i thought maybe he had a bad day because he was nice on the phone before when i had the 2nd issue in delivery after the 1st time. BUT reading the revires from other people you see alot of complai ts for a Craig/Greg and i realized it wasn't just me. Maybe he isn't cut out for interacting w customers in person or maybe they were short staffed. 🤷🏽♀️ At that time he was working the food line for orders. Some issues i had...wer re with deliveries. But all they could do was block the drivers. One marked delivered but never actually delivered the food because they couldn't find house and i gave verg detailed instructions. So instead calling or Panera..they just marked delivered. Which also didn't make sense because other drivers didn't have issues. Another spilled my drink and left food but didn't tell anyone about the missing drink which was clearly spilled from the mess in bag. Stuff like that. I tipped money to drivers on card before food was delivered which made it easy for the drivers to just do what they do. Anyways, back to my last strike. I decided to eat INSIDE....which i sometimes do. We had already ordered, sat, picked up food, spoken to several employees and Greg had seen me this whole time. I had been waiting for extra sauce for a salad i was sharing that never came. Instead of just giving it to me...or speaking to me nicely...he made scene. Embarrassed me and made several customers...
Read morei grew up in Hampton Bays and have been coming to this location at least 2 times per week on a regular basis with family as long as I can remember. My most recent job was across the street from this location and I went almost every day to support them whether it was just for a coffee or lunch or dinner before they close for the day. Due to a few unfortunate circumstances, I became temporarily homeless this month for a few weeks and have been going to Panera to use the bathroom in the morning and grab something like a drink or tea when I am able to get enough money together during these tough times. the manger (brown hair, average size man with mustache, all of a sudden has a problem with me sitting in the restaurant. I did the same thing when I was not homeless and like I said have been coming to this location since I was a child so me and my family spent more than your average family over the years. I refuse to go back and recommend this location until the manager apologizes to the local homeless folks (I am not the first he offended and discriminated) I cannot spend another cent here out of principle and would not recommend giving him...
Read moreI wouldn’t even give this place a 1 star. There food isn’t so bad , but there the worst people ever. Olivia Taylor should have been fired years ago. I have made SEVERAL complaints about her , to the stores location, online & to corporate. It seems like the gm just plays favorites and rips the reports up. She’s a nasty unhygienic girl , she had one time got so nasty and rude with me after an argument she had SPIT in my soup and shoved it at me. She trys to act like she runs the place , but has nearly no general knowledge at all. She doesn’t use clean gloves while handling the food. Since no action has been taking and she still remains employed I willl be calling the NYS department of health & possibly suing them for some of the other incidents that I won’t mention on here for...
