One of the best restaurants in the Hudson Valley. The atmosphere inside is beautiful and the waitstaff is so friendly. The waitresses, bussers, and food runners are always the same each and every weekend we go, and each still is so friendly, knowledgeable, and has wonderful energy as they talk to not just us, but I’ve noticed the other people dining, too. It’s quite refreshing.
I always love looking out the windows and enjoying the views of the farmland, animals, and more as I dine. No matter where you sit, you should still be able to get a glimpse out the windows. If you’re a party of two, you get sat along the windows—which I am normally—and truly enjoy my experience so much more because of it. Quite calming to see the horses, if you ask me. Honestly, this and the food is possibly why it’s my fav!
Making a reservation is easy, you can do it online though Open Table (when you press to make a reservation on their website, it should send you there). Just make sure to do it well in advance, as this place fills up quite fast. On non-busy weekends, we have gotten last minute tables, but during the busy season, holidays, and summer (because of outdoor seating and the gorgeous views), it’s more difficult!
They have a huge gravel parking lot. It’s only a 1-3 minute walk to the entrance, depending on how far back you park. On busy weekends, and especially if someone is having a party, wedding, etc, the parking lot does fill up, but there’s a lot of space to even make more rows. I recommend getting there a few minutes early just to ensure you find a parking spot you’re comfortable with! We’ve never had any issues finding a spot, just sometimes it’ll be alllll the way in the back—even a few times on the grass! But that goes to show just how great and popular this place is.
My boyfriend, his family, and I all love Kayleigh (apologies if spelt incorrectly). She’s a true sweetheart who cares so deeply about the people she’s serving! We’ve come so many times that she knows our drinks, starters, and entrees from the start! She works hard, so make sure you tip her good!! 😆
Food wise, it’s always such a treat. Each time I go, we always get the giant hot pretzel and fried calamari to start. If I could have the pretzel everyday, I seriously would. It’s the best pretzel I’ve ever had!!! For entree’s, I highly recommend the Rughetta salad, chicken Milanese, Kobe beef burger, filet mignon, penne vodka, homemade Mac and cheese, and so much more!! These are all things I’ve personally tried and have loved. However, my go-to tends to be the rughetta salad (I’d swim in the dressing and tomatoes) just because I always fill up on the calamari and pretzel (it is GIANT)!!
They also have a bar. I haven’t sat at it, but it seems lively on the weekend and people seem to enjoy it! The drinks I get (typically coke/pepsi) are always good. The bussers offer pitchers of water for the table in glass vases (in farm to table style) which is nice, or they fill up your glasses as the evening goes on.
Cleanliness wise, everything is clean, smells good, organized, not dusty, no water spots on the cutlery/plates, no leftover food on dishes, etc. The bathrooms (located right behind the bar), are always clean and well-kept.
Only negative? This place isn’t open m-w, and isn’t open for dinner on Sundays! I’m sure there’s a reason, after all it is a farm, they host events, and more, but I love this place so much and sometimes I just am not available th-sa for dinner, and too busy for lunch on Sunday. But, it makes coming here that much more special knowing that they’re only open a few short days, so make the experience—the pretzel—count!
Overall, can’t stress enough how much I loveeeeeee this place! If you’ve read this far, I hope you...
Read moreWe have been to Tilly's Table before and had a wonderful time, great food and service. Last night five of us went out for a friend's birthday. Our reservation was for 6:45. Our food did not arrive until after 8:30. Even our apps took too long to come and certainly over an hour between those (only two) and the main meal. At least four tables that came after us (with at least four people to a table) left before us. Our waiter came once early on to say "your food will be out shortly"...that was definitely more than an hour before the entrees came out. However, the bussers must have asked at least 100 times if we wanted more bread or water. No, we wanted our meals. The waiter ignored our table most of the night. He finally came to say "I'm sorry, your order is up next" and then asked if only two of the five people wanted another drink. He did say those were "on him". When the food did come out, two meals were cold. Those people pushed their plates away. A busser came and said "do you want a to go container". No one (including the waiter) ever asked if something was wrong, how was our meal, can i do anything. One person ordered dessert (because, to be honest, everyone was pretty mad at that point) - chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream (this is how it was stated on the menu). The girl brought out chocolate lava cake with chocolate ice cream. She went to put it in front of the wrong person and then we told her to whom it should go. I said "she wanted vanilla ice cream. Can you please go see if you have vanilla?". She NEVER came back. Honestly, that should have taken 5 minutes to find out. My daughter was going to wait and I told her she better eat the cake just in case, so she did. When the waiter finally came I mentioned it and he said he didn't know. I said it didn't matter but the menu says vanilla. Someone should have come back and said "I'm sorry, we don't have vanilla is chocolate ok?"...nope. Just put it on the plate. We also asked for the check. When he brought it back, he did say they didn't have vanilla. I told him it didn't matter now but I didn't understand why the person I asked didn't come back. And honestly, that is something he should have known. Also, it was apparent that every staff person knew what was happening with our table but no one tried to make it right (comping 2 drinks and the dessert is NOT it). Our meal and experience was not worth the $300 that we paid for it. And, what was worse was that it was for someone's birthday...which the person who made the reservation informed the restaurant and we informed our server when we ordered. The birthday girl said she will not recommend the restaurant. ...
Read moreI reached out. To tillys table a year ago . To have my wedding there . Megan reached out to me right away . Asking me when I wanted to come to see venue . Few days later I went to venue I fell in loved with it . I signed contract for my wedding for 2024 wedding . As the days got closer I reached out. The day of my wedding when the vendors started to show up for my wedding she wasn't there helping . Showing my vendors were to go or show them were is a good spot for pictures. We kinda had to figure that out on our own . The day after my wedding I went too pick stuff up no one was there . So I couldn't pick up my cake . Because everything was locked up . I wasn't from the area so I had to leave without my cake . And reached out to Megan about how can I get my cake . So I had to drive an hour 10 minutes to pick it up . Once I got there the guy came out with my cake on glass dish . And said would you like me to wrap it . I was like yes . Why wasn't my cake wrapped up I'm the 1st place . Not sure why wouldn't you wrapped up cake before putting cake away . Other than these few issues . It was great wedding and the guest loved. It and has great food . I think Megan needs to answer more. To text and emails little bit more . Not...
