Maizeat — Restaurant in Town of Southold

The best little gem in Southold!! I’ve been meaning to try this food truck with my hubs for lunch! It’s located at The Shoals in the parking lot! The food on Instagram LOOKED AMAZING!!! Last Friday my hubs and I finally made the visit! The weather was beautiful, sunny and the food was DELISH! You will find a menu on the table at which point you decide what you want then walk over to the food truck and place your order on the iPad! There is a separate bar area for drinks with a separate iPad! Of course I know because you know I had to have wine with my lunch 😂. After ordering they bring the food to your table (take note of your table number on the umbrella pole as you will input that into the iPad for your order). My hubs and I weren’t sure what to get because everything looked so good! Finally we decided on the oysters, cheese sticks, chicken wings and the fish tostado! We didn’t want to eat too much because we had a wine dinner that night at RGNY! Overall it was excellent!!! There was another couple there at the time with a dog (which seemed like a perfect place if you have a pup and want outside dining~ so def recommend). Super happy to have finally made it here!!! Def recommend if you are in the area or if you want to make the ride out! It is right on the bay so you also have the prettiest scenic view! I rate this Long Island’s 5 Star Food truck on the North Fork for sure!!!...
