The Red Jug Pub — Restaurant in Town of Sweden

First of all the bartenders and staff there is absolutely incredible! We’ve been there for the past 2 months or so every Tuesday for trivia and have never had an issue. However, today we went and our friend; who is over 25, the oldest of our group, and who’s been multiple times with us, was denied entry because her ID “felt” fake. I totally get how security can be a bit strict especially being close to a college but her ID scanned multiple times and is exactly the same as ours. The “security guard” was incredibly rude and we had to get the manager to prove that it was a legit form of NYS ID. It totally threw us off considering we’ve been there for weeks straight. Security needs to learn how NYD ID’s can look a bit different if they’re older than they are (I.e. maybe 24). Overall would definitely recommend this place but make sure to bring multiple forms of identification if...

Everytime I go there I have been ignored by the bartender. Whether there is a hundred people there or 10 people there. I was denied the birthday special that they do because they were having a event that day and they told me to come back you know another time that weekend and they denied me because it was no longer my birthday. Again whether I've been there with 10 people or a hundred people the bathroom is disgusting and the floor is always sticky. I do understand that this is the case when there is a hundred people in there and there's like a party going on but when it's 5 in the afternoon and there's three other people in the bar they're probably shouldn't be a sticky floor and gross bathrooms and it's just not taken care...

I am a veteran with a verified service dog. I’m am very understanding of business not allowing dogs. The employees here were very welcoming to me bringing her in. I was there to watch the bills game and she was never a problem for the 3 hours we were there. All the sudden the short, balding, rolly-polly looking owner comes in absolutely screaming in my face.
