Tilly's Diner — Restaurant in Town of Thompson

They lie about prices and waitress was very rude and snotty they definitely lie about their prices. They’re horrible people on top of that. The waitress is very snotty especially if one ask a question on the phone she is horrible or if you want to eat inside, she sticks her nose up at you like she’s better than you because she’s just miserable that she has work when that’s her job her job is to be nice to the customer into a good job so she gets a good tip! Not this place though even if you want to get it and take out you’ll get through so horribly by the waitress because she knows you’re not gonna sit in and get a tip when you first walk in with the Tyner, the waitress or act, so fake to you! Shack, so fake because she’s hoping she’s going to get a big tip for doing nothing. Then when she finds out you want take something to go her attitude changes quick! Even when you’re sitting there and get served by her it’s always the same address. She is pretty miserable. She doesn’t want to work so I don’t understand why she took the job to begin with. I think honestly she think she’s just magically going to get tips for just sitting on her butt and just eating a free meal that they give her for working her shift… Honestly, I don’t pick on anybody, but this lady is so miserable I mean they really need to get rid of her on top of that. This place is disgusting. They give the same special multiple days in a row and a lunch special is the same exact as the dinner special just adding something or removing some thing it’s horrible and then you’ll call to ask questions and unfortunately, if you do not speak Spanish they do not know what to say to him so they put you on hold for a while till the waitress comes on. This speaks English and gets mad that you’re wasting her time because she feels like she shouldn’t have to be answering the phone because she’s not getting paid for it even though her job is not just getting tips. It’s also about answering the phone answering questions customer relations helping a customer out opening it’s just all around not a good place they’re way over priced their prices do not match their menu. They serve old food in their specials are just all the leftovers and again their specials for lunch and dinner or very similar it’s just sad that this place does such business with a horrible way they are and the expensive prices and them not being clear like for example, if you ask them for for the touch, the part of the fork or a spoon or knife they put your mouth and then hand it to you and you do not want to see what goes on in the kitchen if something gets dropped on the floor, it still goes right back on your plate and they...

Expected a 50's style diner and did not get that vibe as they weren't even playing music from the the 50's or 60's. Our waitress was rude, before I could even finish saying "sausage gravy" the waitress speedily responded with a "we don't have that" even though it was on the menu. Then I asked to switch that to "chili fries without onions" (they had both chili and fries on the menu). She brought out my boyfriends plate of chicken wings and a plate of fries with chili on top (JUST chili) for me. I then asked if I could have cheese added to it and she seemed confused. I literally had to say "Don't you have shredded cheese"? She got huffy and said "well, these aren't even on the menu" to which I wanted to say "well, your menu says you have sausage gravy but you don't, so...why are we going by menu now?". She did bring them back with the cheese (at which point I was skeptical of it being sabotaged). My one pancake was good, my over-easy egg was overdone (obviously from being under the warmer too long) and the bacon seemed precooked. My boyfriend's wings and sandwich with fries were good, and we also had 2 fountain drinks (which our waitress never asked to be refilled) and our bill came to nearly $50! The "icing on the sh*t cake" was when I went to use the bathroom and it smelled so heavily like raw sewage coming up from a vent in the floor, I was immediately nauseous. Place was crowded. When we was told to sit where we wanted we choose a spacious table for 2 adults, 2 children, and a toddler in a high chair. Took 10 mins for them to bring a highchair, we ordered our appetizers and then the waitress asked us to move to a table half the size, near the restrooms, and close to the kitchen door cause she had a party of 13 coming in, I politely refused. Then when asked for a refill of soda she brought us a half cup of soda. Her attitude was far from welcoming, she looked like she had enough and needed to go home. When our appetizers arrived she just put them in front of the screaming toddler and left, brought no small plates for us to put the food on. Our main dishes came about an hour and a half after we ordered them, my toddlers cheese ravloi wasn't prepared properly the pasta was way under cooked, and for those of us that ordered food that came with French fries we barely received any (about 10 fries on the plate), my boyfriend's burger was supposed to have cheese it never came with cheese and was just about raw.
