Sorge's DayBreak Diner — Restaurant in Town of Three Lakes

Stopped in on a Wednesday late morning, we were seated promptly. Restaurant was very clean and staff was friendly. Got our drinks right away. All was going great! Then we ordered our food, we both ordered their Cali wraps. Very simple breakfasts ...eggs,avocado, And bacon, on a garlic flour tortilla. Pretty simple right? Well, obviously not. An hour and 15 minutes later, still no wraps. Not a single update from our waitress, nothing. We still had an 8 hour drive ahead of us, so my boyfriend had to walk up and ask one of the ladies how much longer it would be. Finally had to just ask them to box it up so we could eat in on the road. We wasted almost 2 hours in there for 2 breakfast items that maybe take 5 minutes to make. Absolutely ridiculous. The worst part, the wraps were awful!!! ZERO flavor . Highly disappointed in this little restaurant. They need new cooks, or better training in Time management and how to season food properly. Also, perhaps when seating customers, let them know that you are running behind. Honesty will ALWAYS be the best policy! 1/10 do...

Refreshing to see a very well organized restaurant - friendly staff, super clean, everything had it's place. We sat at the counter with a view into the kitchen area, so we got to see how well they worked together! Food was good - my only complaint is that my Denver omelette had raw, red onion...not sure if they forgot to cook them until it was finished or if that's how they typically serve it - but completely edible, just wouldn't have been my choice. Coffee what hot and my cup was always full. Even with it being the busy Labor Day weekend, we were taken care of and once we were finished, didn't feel like they wanted to push us out....

This is by far the friendliest family oriented Lil diner around up here in the Northwoods. I've only been living in the Three lakes wi area for 2 yrs but I this diner has the best breakfast and food around.. I mean they know who I am and what I want by our first initial hello good morning. So if you want to have a good filling, nice relaxing experience I recommend sorge's. The owner and her staff are the best. So I personally want to say thank you for the best part of my day witch is my morning omelet and hash browns....
