I ordered General Tso tofu for delivery from another restaurant. They messed up my order and sent chicken. I'm a vegetarian and couldn't eat it. My husband remembered seeing Oriental Palace while driving home one day and I looked them up. I called to see if they could make their bean curd in the general Tso sauce. The chef came on the phone to speak with me and made sure he was clear on everything I wanted. I wanted veggie lo mein and not white rice and they have vegetable egg rolls!! Veggie egg rolls (not spring rolls) are so hard to find. I cannot express how good everything he made was. The tofu was crispy and not mushy, the sauce was so good and not overly sweet, and the egg rolls was good as well. We ordered the country style bean curd, mixed vegetables, and broccoli with garlic sauce, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. I was also able to get some of their orange sauce to go—my favorite!
