P-2's Irish Pub — Restaurant in Town of Tupper Lake

We were camping at Cranberry Lake and looking for a place with outdoor seating for dinner because we have an unvaccinated infant and our friends had a dog - we called ahead to P-2's pub and they said the dog was welcome (as long as she didn't dig holes - of course!). They didn't have high chairs, but we were traveling with one because we didn't know what dining options would be like, so that didn't bother us. Despite not having high chairs, the staff were super friendly and helpful with our unique situation. The outside patio is gorgeous and a really good option if the weather is iffy but you still want to eat outside because the ground is covered in pavers and the awning is very sturdy - this isn't a haphazard COVID pivot, but a real investment in the business. If the rain wasn't threatening we would have stayed for the live music! The two Wisconsinites in the group found their cheese curds authentic and the beer selection was small but respectable. Menu is small, but all you really need. Will definitely be back when we are in town...

After paddling the Crusher I wanted a burger and a beer. I found the Irish pub and stopped in. I was greeted by Michelle and Karmeen and they were engaging and informative. Michelle the owner told me the history of the pub.

I ordered a burger which was cooked to perfection and very flavorful and it the stop. I enjoyed the burger so much I had to go back the following day to make sure it was as good as I thought. The second burger the next day was also brilliant and it paired well with a draft Guinness.

Great atmosphere and concept. Sliders were like pucks. Wings need to be way more crisp, especially for the amount of sauce. Great flavor, a little on the hotter side, and the blue cheese is horrible, just a heads up. Did not realize that $15 is for only an order of 6 wings. (COVID PRICES SHOULD BE OVER). Wish that was posted on the menu the number of wings. Be prepared to spend $$$. $50 per person with a couple drinks. For prices like this, everything should be out of this world.
