This is a little out of the way place in wine country. The decor is cool with a country cabin vibe. They have a decent sized menu, with all of the common breakfast food, although I was surprised at the prices. Considering if you order an omlette, other than toast. that is litterly all you get. Almost anywhere I have been, some sort of potatoes come with an omlette. The omlette I got had onion, peppers, mushrooms, cheese, sausage, & ham. All of their omlettes are made with 2 eggs. So, to reiterate, the prices are high for what you get. Unfortunately, I wasn't too impressed with this place. And would NOT recommend a visit unless there was nowhere else close to where you were going. One odd thing I would like to add, its the bathrooms. They are located down the hall in back of the restaurant. The light for the bathrooms is located down the hall outside of the bathroom. You would think they would put a sign on the door telling you where the light switch is at. But I ended up using my phone for light. It wasn't till I was done and coming back done the hall, did staff member tell me about the light switch.

We stopped in at Falls Restaurant after spending the morning exploring the trails at Taughannock Falls. What a wonderful surprise. You’ll be hard pressed to find an establishment like this out in the wild these days, but the Falls has been around since 1988. A great little spot with ample seating, great staff, and a menu of homemade breakfast and lunch items. We got the tuna melt, Falls harvest salad, and homemade creamy cauliflower soup and it was all absolutely delicious. Excellent service, both the bartender and our server were so sweet. Stop in for a delicious home cooked meal and you won’t regret it.

This is a good diner. Extremely decent prices for quintessential American diner breakfast and lunch meals. The staff here is on the ball and always ready to help. Prompt coffee refills and timely service. Decent children's activities while you wait for your order. The restaurant is well located for a lunch or breakfast break if you are visiting taughannock State park or other local attractions. Lots of parking and also right next to grassroots.

Came here because of the great reviews, but I forgot that Upstate/Southern Tier has notoriously low standards for food... There just aren't enough decent options around here so some places get great reviews because there's no where else to go... The eggs were fine—you can't really mess up eggs—the coffee tasted burnt, the home fries were unseasoned and bland, and the corned beef hash tasted straight from a tin. The homemade wheat toast, though, was surprisingly delicious! I ate about half my plate and then left. I hate wasting food, but I couldn't stomach another bite. Place was packed, so maybe I just had a bad experience... Then again, if you're the only restaurant around, where else are folks gonna go? Oh, and double-check the prices before ordering—one egg instead of two is $3 dollars cheaper, depending on the plate, and an egg on the side is only $1.50, so you're better off ordering a one-egg plate with another egg on the side. Sever didn't seem to like me ordering like that,...

It was ok..had breakfast..my sil wasn't impressed with her sausage and cheese omlet..no cheese..all little sausage crumbles came falling out...no big pieces of sausage..looked like ground beef..no flavor..my poached eggs were cold..we didn't bother to complain because they were busy changing over to lunch .very expensive for what we got..no other places around there for breakfast..kind of disappointed 😞 We visited there today..1/21/23 the service was excellent..my husband had to send back his sausage gravy because it was cold..they microwaved it..it was hot but he had eggs over easy on top of it and they microwaved those to..so the eggs were dried out..I had eggs Benedict..it was good..my eggs were hard..I sent back and they came out perfect..my sil. Omelet was great..the place is cute and clean and it was very busy..so I understand getting a few things off..but it was fixed and we enjoyed...
