We've tried all the local Chinese restaurants, and each has its hits and misses. When this place first opened under its current name, we were thrilled , the food was outstanding. Unfortunately, the quality has declined somewhat over time.
The downside: On our most recent visit, the egg rolls were disappointingly mushy. The beef and broccoli had a gritty texture and an off flavor that made us question its freshness. I have never tried toasted pepper sauce, but it was great. Portions were right where I would expect, I'm a big guy and one entree was plenty to fill me up. The smell as I was driving it home was amazing. The staff were super friendly on phone and in person. Very surprised for small town Chinese food, but I guess Tburg is no...
