Bella's Deli Subs & Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Union

I alway drive past this place and think how sketchy it look, but figured I'd give their food a try. How bad could it be if they serve Boars Head? So I ordered online which was rather easy and effortless, though so simple it makes it hard to customize an order. 5 minutes later I'm driving to pick up the food and I get a call that they are out if chicken tikka. It happens, I'll try something else. How about the lamb curry? The guy tells me that they are out of that too and in fact they are out of all curry dishes. O well, I'm halfway there, I'll get there and order something else. Once I get there I spot the lamb gyro and I figure I'll settle for that. I order, pay, and begin walking around the store. 5 minutes goes by and the shop keeper/cook starts calling at me across the store "Guy! Hey, guy!". You'd never guess but they don't have any lamb either... at this point I just want to get and food and get out of this store that smells pungently of old dirty fryer grease, so I tell the man I'll settle for a chicken gyro. 20 more minutes go by with some of the sketchiest people coming and going. The guy come out and points at me "you..." and hands me a tiny to-go box. Inside I found the smallest and worst tasting gyro I have ever had. It had more onion than chicken and so much nondescript sauce that I couldn't even see the ingredients. 6 bucks, 7 miles, and 40 minutes later, I reek of grease and am just as hungry as when I started... Moral of the story, avoid this place at all costs unless you're looking for a tall boy of Key Ice or a cheap bowl to smoke; never...

Let me start off by saying I order from here often. They've got the best variety and prices. From breakfast sandwiches, omelettes, to pizza, wings, Fish Fridays, unique desserts like funnel cake frys, salads, wraps, gyros, Vegan & Vegitarian Options, Burgers, Beef Patties, Hot Dogs, Lamb/Chicken Curry, Shrimp/Chicken over rice, City style plates, Cold & Hot Subs. Literally anyone could find something to eat here, at any point of the day, and it's delicious & cost effective. It's the type of place where they are welcoming and know you by name after only a few times. Waits are fast 15-20mins for orders, and you can order ahead for pick up, making it very convenient. Order & Pay directly through the google maps app as well. I use these features often and have never had an issue. I've only had a few instances where they have over cooked some of my food, but personally I rather it be over cooked than undercooked.🤷‍♀️ They are quick and attentive to fix any issues. Definitely an added gem to the area. They use all boar head sandwhich meats as well. I have never been dissatisfied and would recommend them...

Fantastic food.

I ordered from here last night trying them out for the first time. I've lived in Vestal since 2015 and never even knew about this place. What a treat. The price is very reasonable and the food is worth it.

The breading on the mozzarella sticks was loaded with flavor. I also ordered a chopped cheeseburger and they graciously added jalapenos and hot sauce for me and the sub was very delicious.

My girlfriend and I also ordered the 12 ct wings and got them half bbq and half mild. The mild was actually quite flavorful and the bbq was very good too, nice little zing to them. The wings had a great crisp to them and we also ordered the 30 pc. popcorn chicken which was actually quite tasty.

She got the chicken parm sub and said it had quite a flavor to it despite her thinking it would taste more like a "fake" parm, as she called it, but she was impressed.

All-in-all I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a good meal. I was very pleased with the meal, the price I paid, and this little gem I found locally here in Endicott.
