Let me say, the atmosphere was pleasant and clean. The young man up front was nice and friendly. I had a very hard week and this was to be a special treat for myself. 🤯 I ordered: Tom Kha Gai $7.25 menu price Thai chicken soup with coconut milk, lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves, onion, cabbage, and mushrooms. Soup was so hot I burned my tongue, had to let it cool. Soup was mostly broth and onions, 2 pieces of mushroom. No cabbage, but had carrots instead, after I asked for no carrots or bell peppers in anything. Had to try to cut the long green onions with a dull butter knife. Tried to charge me $10.55, lady blamed the price difference on her brother. Charged me $7.75 :(
Pineapple Curry $14.95. menu price Coconut milk, potatoes, onions, carrots, pineapple, topped with peanuts. Ordered this to go, expecting to be full from the soup. What came out was a fried rice mixture with onions, broccoli, carrots, tidbits of pineapple, raisins, and cashews in a typical rectangular carry out dish and it was full. I asked to have what I ordered on the menu, I had asked to swap carrots with pea pods and add pork. He took it back. 2nd order of Pineapple Curry, included white rice on the side. A now round dish with lots of broth(lots spilled out of the dish into the bottom of the bag), pea pods, pineapple, a couple pieces of onion, a few peanuts and some pork. No potatoes to be found. I asked them to please rebag it, so it wouldn’t spill on my car. Paper bag. Really?!? Charged me $15.55. :(. Lady said she didn’t charge me for the pork, after I complained.
Ordered custard $5.25 3 teeny tiny dishes of custard to go. Nothing like the pic in the menu. Charged $5.20 🤦🏼♀️
When I went up to pay, all the prices were higher than the menu!! The lady behind the counter blamed the difference on her brother. When asked why the items brought out to me were different from the items on the menu, she stated “when we are out of something, we substitute”. No notice to the customers? I asked what about food allergies and said they should at least tell their customers. She shrugged. 😳 She adjusted the price on the soup almost back to the menu price. 🤦🏼♀️
I said it was my first time there. I was treating myself for a hard week, but I probably wouldn’t be back. She said sorry.
I don’t recommend this business. Its owner needs to pay attn to its employees, family or not. You can’t just substitute one meal for another and think the customer will be happy. They cooked pineapple fried rice instead of Pineapple Curry! Ugh. NO
I left feeling frustrated, overcharged and...
Read moreToday I went for lunch with a friend . Please keep in mind it was only myself and two other tables seated . We had a blonde waitress I don’t recall her name . Service was terrible . Not to mention the waitress had a male friend talking to her for the entire hour we were there trying to get warm soup. Probably why she forgot the water about 3 times and laughed it off and did not understand the menu nor did she attempt to get our questions about the menu answered . After we got our pho . And several requests for the same items . Example . Water . Hot broth . Took about 10-15 minutes per reminder. She then brought the broth in a to go container with an ill fitting lid claiming it was their last lid . And it was tied up in a bag . And we wanted it for the soup on the table . She never once asked how the food was we had to wave her down and get her away from her man friend to do her job. But we were distressed at that point . Paid and left . . We won’t be back. I came because of other friends talking up the food . But, we will not be back . They did give us a rose as it is Valentine’s Day. That honestly is the only upside . She also billed us wrong charging extra 3.50 for something we never got . . but again I just paid and left . And the mints are stale and I had to spit it out when I got to the parking...
Read moreDon't go here! I started my first day at a new job and I wanted to celebrate with some friends. When we first sat down, we were immediately swarmed by flies. I figured that they were gnats coming from the potted plants so we moved tables. The flies followed us to the new table, and swarmed us when we got our food. We were swatting at them, there were at least 10 flying around our table, landing on our food. I felt disgusting and itchy, not to mention that I'm actually allergic to this kind of insect (learned recently when I had an infestation of my own houseplants and had to go to urgent care). When we tried to discuss this with the manager, he just said "what do you want me to do about it?", while we were visibly swatting and covering our food with napkins. Also, they up charged us for our selected proteins when their prices weren't listed anywhere on the menu (I got tofu and they charged me $4 extra which is outrageous). While they did take of the protein charges from our bill, they did nothing to apologize or make up for the flies and were rude about it. It's clear they do not care at all about the service for dine in customers, as I'm sure they do a lot of take out. Worst dining experience ever, I...
