I ordered take out, was told 20-25 minutes, upon arrival over half hour later was rudely told it's not ready "I said 20-25 minutes on the phone!" Finally got the takeout and came home to find the prime rib a well done dry end cut instead of the medium rare that I ordered and the other dish (a chicken parm) to be too tough to even chew for a middle aged adult. Upon calling the restaurant to inform them of the issue with prime rib (and yes I did take pictures to show how overcooked it is) I was handed over to speak with a gentleman who I'm assuming was the manager thus I explained the situation again. He made a nonchalant comment about oh how it was just done a little more than to my liking and I said no, it was completely well done as opposed to medium-rare (big difference) to which he rudely commented yeah isn't that what I just said. I was told they could make another one but as I explained I live half hour away and after working 12+ hours at the hospital could not make that drive there and back with having to be back at work in the morning. I did ask about possibly doing a voucher for just the prime rib for another day so I could get it on my way from work and was quickly shot down with a response of "no I don't keep a board of I owe yous here" to which I politely said okay thanks have a good night, and he blurted again "well don't know what ya want me to do," with that attitude I just notified him we would no longer be returning customers, thanks, goodnight. I can understand a restaurant having an off night on occasion but to not reconcile it and on top of it get so much rude attitude from staff is what really made us upset and disinterested in ever...
Read moreI tried their pizza when my boyfriendâs mom raved about it and called it her favorite. He picked up a red pie and a white pie on their special. It was edible and sure, it is better than fast food, but this isnât what Iâd call good, not even for this area. The cheese on the white pizza wasnât melted nice to be gooey, it just lays there on top as if it were a sandwich. The red was better but still not great. He was so surprised when I wasnât ooh-ing and ahh-ing over it but this is the equivalent (if even) of a NYC dollar pizza, except thatâs still better.
Taylorâs has better pizza locally.. but yeah.. they cost more which is why cheapskates obviously go to this place. I want a pizzeria for a good pizza not because itâs cheap. If their advertising cheap itâs because itâs not that great. Go to Nickâs in Endicott, Frankâs in Maine, Paul & Sons, or NY Pizzeria (formerly NY Chefs) in Bing. Come here to maybe try wings or...
Read moreThis place is great. My grandma set up a funeral reception here for my uncle (yes, it was a sad event) and they did a fantastic job of catering the group of about 60 people. Truly great food - what a surprise from what my grandma described as a âbarâ. That fresh marinara sauce was BANGING (fresh onion and garlic slices, so good) and the meatballs were excellent, even the sautĂ©ed green beans were delicious. Mushroom braised chicken, roasted beef with gravy, homemade salad dressings ⊠this dude knows what heâs doing and he had the staff to back it up. Perfect for the type of family event that we were planning. Thank you so much for your respectful accommodation of our familyâs celebration of my...
