I ordered a pizza online this past Sunday. With a coupon it was 12.99 plus 4 for deliver and tax coming to nearly $19.99 for a large cheese pizza. I received an email that my order was in, the. One that said it was being made, then another that it was out for delivery. I live less than ten minutes from the location and called at the 20 minute mark had come. The gal that answered the phone obviously has no power to help so she put the “manager” on the phone. At this point the delivery man shows up with a pizza with the same temperature as the box that held it. I told the “manager”of my displeasure with the cold pizza. Well he must of had a couple deliveries prior to yours. Wow, have they no thermal totes to keep pizza warm? I didn’t tip the driver as I won’t acknowledge for slow service or cold food with a stipend. The “manager”offered to make another pizza. It meant waiting another hour for a possible second cold pizza. I declined. I asked what kind of discount he would give on the pizza I had received. NONE. But, he would give me 50% on my NEXT pizza. Seriously? You delivered an inferior product and still expect full purchase price. Next day, yesterday, over 24hrs ago I called the “corporate office” which is nothing more than an answering machine. I gave my number and asked for a call ASAP. They must be to busy to respond or they don’t care. I believe the latter. If they cared someone would have contacted me already. Will I ever order from any Mark Pizza again? Absolutely never ever again. Why? This is the second time in a year or so that this same thing has happened. Fool me once..... Wish there was a zero...
Read moreI am a huge Mark’s fan, but this store is putrid. I’ve had 3 experiences with the Victor location so far. First two times I order over the phone and show up to pick up a pizza that was never made. I get it, mistakes happen, but twice in a row? Come on...
Third times a charm.... I show up and as I’m sitting down waiting for the pizza I’m reading a slew of google reviews about how stingy they are with toppings. Sure enough, I’m presented with my pizza and I actually counted 13 black olive slices. 13!
I’m about as easy going and down to earth as they come, but paying a premium for pizza to get shafted doesn’t sit well on an empty stomach, especially with a hungry family at home. I could have gotten over the whole thing and let it go until I received a pompous and pretentious attitude from the manager about having to remake the pizza. He actually gave me an attitude as if I was bothering him....
Note to the owner; google reviews are everything now a days. It’s the way of the future. My family has run a business successfully for 50 years and we thrive now because of our reviews. Our customers rave about reading all the good things previous customers have said. If you want to maintain or achieve success with the millennial generation becoming more prevalent you’ll need to make the right adjustments.
Needless to say, my night ended with a delicious pizza from Pontillos...
Read moreI must be insane because their pizza isn't that great and they always seem confused when I come to pick up my order. Yet, I continue to purchase from them. However, I think after writing this review I'll find a local mom and pop pizza place to order from. Mark's pizza, like the other popular franchises in the area, is overpriced and they have some real unintelligent folks working for them. For the price you pay, the pizza is typical of any pizzeria. I always order online, which makes their job a little easier, but at least 75% of the time, when I go in to pick up the food they ask "did you already pay for this?" What if I was a dishonest person, didn't pay for it, and just lied. Free Pizza! Not only that, but 75% of the time I go to the register, give them my full name and tell them I ordered online, and the employee comes back and asks me what my name is and if I ordered online. Picking up pizza should not be this involved. The owners must be making some nice dough (pun intended), because they generally seem to have three to four people standing around doing nothing. Did I mention I only order on weekends? I guess this is how they treat family...
