This was my 3rd time coming here and it didn't disappoint at all. There's plenty of parking, outdoor area for the spring/summer/fall season to enjoy yourself and the weather while you dine. They have private rooms for parties or events, gotta call ahead ofcourse to set that up. The ambiance is awesome, tonight was a quiet night but I've driven past this establishment on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and it's packed and you can hear the music playing and looks like everyone is having a good time. Our waiter was excellent, was extremely courteous and always checking in on myself and two others who were at the table with me. I ordered the Sirloin quesadilla for an appetizer and Mofongo with Pernil (Pork) and it was all good. The sirloin in the quesadilla was tender, the Mofongo and pernil (pork) was very good. I have no complaints at all. There was ample amount of parking, we were seated right away, no waiting, our waiter was fast and attentive throughout dinner. I recommend trying this restaurant out. Bring your family, friends or get a private room for a work gathering/holiday party or family reunion. I can assure you your visit here will have you coming back again. The prices are reasonable and the establishment is clean. There is a bar and cocktail menu, there is something for everyone, even kids meals. Check it out, you won't be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I visited last night around 7 pm, and we were a bit disappointed to find that many of the appetizer options were unavailable, either because they had run out or weren't being offered. On the positive side, the rice and beans were tasty, and the chicken was quite good. Our server was also very pleasant.
However, the aesthetics of the establishment could really use an upgrade. The high chairs in the bar area were torn, and several of the table lights weren't working. The name "Casa Mia" feels fitting, as it gives off the vibe of dining at grandma's houseāthere's a certain charm to that, though it could be seen as both a positive and a negative. There was a party going on for a teen, and the loud music from that event drowned out the music on our side.
One highlight was the bartender, who made excellent drinks, but her revealing plunging top seemed a bit out of place for a family-oriented environmentāmore suited for a bar full of millennials than one with families present. Overall, I'd give this place a 3 out of 5 for effort. Would I recommend it? I'd say yes, but with the caveat that everyone should form their own opinion. This is just my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place right here is truly in the cut. I checked them put on IG and I put them down to try out and do a review on and I have to admit I WAS VERY IMPRESSED. My Coconut Virgin Mojito was GOOOOD VERY GOOD down to I had to order another one. My stuff Avocado was good as well. I did enjoy the Pernil sandwich just a little bit. I should have asked about there onions considering I can't have them but that was my fault and it was saturated with it as the garlic sauce. The young server was really sweet he was going to take it back but I don't like to waste food. So I ate half of it and I have to say besides the onions it was good. But it would be nice if they don't good the peril. It had hard parts that you can see they over cooked it. To me you don't have to cook his over the stove it's already cooked it makes the meat dry. Just warm it up some and it's fine but that's my preference. The place was really nice outside and indoors. I can not wait to come back with my friends from the city and bring them here. Casa Mina your place is really nice. I would recommend people to come here. FYI I would have given 5 stars but some of my...
