My experiences here border on the absurd. The food was average but everything else is a disaster. I have ordered here 3 times. The first time I ordered egg and cheese on a roll and the deli was busy. I stood to the side and waited. And waited. About 10 minutes later I saw a tin foil wrapped sandwich being put to the side of the register. The cashier ignored it for another 15 minutes. When I finally said something she had to open the now cold sandwich to see it was mine and sent me out with it. 15 minutes waisted to get a now cold and congealed sandwich. Gross.
The next time I learned my lesson and called ahead for the same exact egg sandwich. This time it was $6 more than the week before. I was perplexed but in a rush so I paid and left.
The next time I again called ahead. Being early Sunday it was quiet and empty and the cashier said come in 5 minutes. I gave them 10 minutes. I went in, paid, and she said the cook was still making it. It’s an egg sandwich. I looked in the kitchen and THERE WAS NO ONE THERE! For another 5 minutes there was no one in the kitchen. He’s still making it??! Where? What deli is he making it at - lll go pick it up there!
A while later the guy comes out of the bathroom, walks past me, says hello, goes into the kitchen and really starts making it. He spent 20 minutes in the bathroom and now he’s making a sandwich? First - gross. Second - why is she lying??! You can see the kitchen! Just say it’ll be a while longer, have a seat. Don’t say he’s making it when everyone can see there’s no one there!
I’m so grossed out by them I have no idea if there’s a secret password to get good service that I don’t know, but for an egg sandwich - how do you guys screw it...
Read moreAfter raving about the food from this place, I convinced 2 of my coworkers to order food from here, when we went to pick it up we entered an empty building with the exception of 2 employees in the dining area who were screaming at each other so loudly that I couldn't hear the person tending the register. When I asked to split the order the cashier caught an attitude with me for no reason... it's not like I was asking to refund a transaction and start over jack... I mean seriously, how hard is it to select American hero, add bacon and a chicken sandwich. My best guess is the guy was embarrassed by the way his employees were carrying on, as if it was the Jerry Springer show, and didn't know how to handle the situation. When the female employee started yelling at, who I presume was in charge for at least this day, he told her to "go to the corner, so he can take care of the customer like a professional"... he must have been joking, because he also was anything but professional... anyway, told embarrassing situation for that place, I'll never go there again... but the food was...
Read moreI would love to give this place more stars because their food is great but they seriously need to make changes to their customer service skills. I stopped in on Sunday and was very displeased and disappointed with the service I received. I called in an order and then picked it up. When I got home I found out that what they gave me was all wrong. I called to try and get the situation resolved but was left disappointed. I explained what I ordered and told them what they gave me. The person I spoke to informed me that the order was rung in wrong but I only got charged for what I received. Next they told me that not only would I need to drive 15 mins back to the store but i would have to pay again for what I ordered in the 1st place. Now money isn't the issue here but why should I be inconvenienced and my breakfast ruined because of their mistake? This is ridiculous, No apology or any type of kind gesture to make up for their mistake. This way of doing business needs to be addressed or it will definitely keep customers...
