Nest — Restaurant in Town of Webb

The best food, service and environment in the ADK. I just went to Hells Kitchen (Gordon Ramsay) in Atlantic City a few weeks ago and the filet mignon here was better than Gordon Ramsay’s.

We had the night’s special - elote corn ribs - and brussel sprouts for appetizers. If you like Brussel sprouts, these will have you floored from how good and crispy they are.

For our entrees we had the jerk hen and the filet mignon. You get a lot of bang for your buck with the jerk hen, seasoned perfectly, nice kick but not over powering, and the delicious coconut cream paired so well with the hen, rice and beans. The filet mignon (medium rare) was a beautiful cut and melted in my mouth! It was served with potato crisps on top and cauliflower and mushrooms in potato cream that was so savory and delicious.

You are also served a few slices of toasted bread with a spread and toppings - tonight was pickled cauliflower with whipped ricotta cheese. It had my jaw on the floor, it was the delicious.

Our server was wonderful, informative and attentive, even with the restaurant completely full. The owner Kate hustled with her staff to make sure everything was smooth.

My wife was most impressed with their wine selections and cocktails. If you don’t drink like me they have great mocktails too!

Went last night with a party of 6 to see what the hype was about. Service was absolutely horrible to the point that the waiter even admitted it, I quote "sorry I abandoned you guys" then proceeded to dissappear again and ignore several attempts for us to flag him down so we could get the check. Myself and my friend got the pork chop, boy was that a mistake, came out pink and raw inside and charred on the outside, would have been nice to send it back but the waiter literally left us hanging so I picked at it some in hopes I would not get sick from uncooked pork as did my friend. I will be calling to speak to the manager about our 1st experience and I question if I'll give them another shot. EDIT after speaking with owner regarding my poor experience, she proceeded to solidify my standings. She made multiple attempts to excuse the awful service and inedible food but it fell on deaf ears. Excellent experience, they accommodated all of us in a setting that definitely wasn't met for a dozen people. We were parked right in the middle of the Nest and we were happy with our food,grateful for the service and the owner also worked hard to accommodate our needs along with the other Patrons of his establishment that were also present with us at the same time. So, the food was a little slower to get put to us. But it was well worth the wait. We're thankful to the Nest owner and his staff for giving us a great food experience. And it's a crowded space.
