The Railyard Taproom & Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Whitehall

Last night my partner and I ordered a spaghetti and chicken wings for pickup. We get home and the spaghetti has a whole french fry and multiple other pieces of french fry. I reached out to them on their Facebook page and their first reply was "Not sure why there would be french fries in your pasta. I will have to ask how that could possibly happen" then only offers a 10% discount off my next service. No offer for a refund after throwing out 40 dollars worth of food due to feeling like their kitchen is unsanitary. When I pointed that out they had an excuse of how their inspector says its clean and must have happen when plating somebody else's food. So now the kitchen is unsanitary, they left my food out uncovered and was reaching over food? Not checking the quality? Seeing how it was mixed into the pasta sauce it really makes me wonder who else got pasta and french fries. Would not recommend going here due to lack of sanity measures and barely any resolution.

Edited due to reply: its disgusting, for all you know we could have had an allergy. Not once have you offered a refund. We will be making a chargeback. Not unsanitary? You literally had french fries drop into pasta? Then didn't check the food? Whether you have good reviews or comments I do not care. Your kitchen and restaurant has shown that they dont handle resolutions nor are they sanitary enough to make sure random food doesnt go...

I stopped in to check out the restaurant as I have passed it many times but never had the time to stop. I ordered a drink and was asked if I wanted it 'tall'. I stated I would like a taller glass but not a double shot. I drink vodka/club soda. Checked out the menu but decided at that time not to order any food, there were many items that looked tempting and someone at the bar said everything was great. Upon finishing my drink I asked for my check and when I received it there was a charge for 'Regular $1.00'. I asked the bartender what the $1 was for? He stated 'I don't know, I don't make the prices'. I stated you rang it in, you should know what it was for. In this review I am asking management, do you charge an extra $1 for the 'extra' club soda in a taller glass? Club soda costs you nothing, it is simply water with bubbles. Just asking? I tend to not go back to places that are going to nickel and dime me, and I was thinking I would be back to try the food.

I very much enjoyed this meal. We were the only table this Sunday morning but we ate well! Service was good, started off slow but we were very well her first diners of the day and she fell into pace quickly. The food came out promptly and was perfection. The 6 wings ordered BBQ style were crispy and delicious. The BBQ was sweet and flavorful, and wings were a perfect size. The Railyard burger is a regular burger served with pulled pork and bacon. We skipped bacon but the pulled pork added a tremendous amount of flavor to every bite. We also got the Boxcar Club. A burger served club style, with bacon and mayo on your choice of bread. I choose to add lettuce and mushrooms, white was my choice of bread. It was the perfect mix. A BLT with mushrooms and a burger, yum. Finally both burgers were accompanied by tator tots. Perfectly cooked with flavor and crunch. Golden with the perfect amount of potato. Overall I very mix enjoyed the restaurant, it’s lay out and design. I would 100% come back to enjoy another meal, I’d even make the commute from my home to their place in Whitehall....
