Your choices for good, affordable food in the Olcott area continue to be limited. So when we read the reviews for Brownie's Eats in nearby Wilson we decided it was worth the short 10 minute drive. This place is very busy, especially on the weekends. That, combined with the good reviews, you'd expect a good experience. So far, we've yet to have a good experience here. We've eaten here twice now and, during both visits, they've messed up our orders. During our latest visit today, I had to wait for someone to take my food order while they made other customers ice cream orders a priority. I almost walked away but I decided to wait. After 10 minutes of waiting in line and being ignored, I finally had to call out and ask if someone was going to take my food order. A young girl with an attitude who had been standing around doing very little walked over and took my order. I ordered two Angus (extra charge) burgers, an order of curly fries, and two thick (extra charge) chocolate milkshakes. I paid for our order and then waited for our food. After 25 minutes, what we actually received were two small regular burgers, an order of barely cooked curly fries, and two watered down milkshakes that tasted more like vanilla than chocolate. This place clearly isn't designed to handle the volume of customers they have and do it efficiently. Today was our second and last visit here. We'll find someplace else with...
Read moreA lady stopped at Brownies to get Ice Cream for her dog and they refused to serve her saying it was after 9pm. The lady was standing in line just as I was and it was 30 seconds after 9pm when we were served. When I told the girls that she was already standing in line before 9pm, the girls replied very nasty saying that the owner will not let them serve anyone after 9pm. I highly doubt that the company policy is not to serve a person that was already in line 30 seconds after the closing time. These were young girls working at this place and I was very surprised how rude, nasty and argumentative they were. The whole situation was uncalled for. Needless to say, no one needs Ice Cream from Brownies. My advice would be to get Ice Cream from a place that values its customers and thats...
