We dined at Bangkok Spice on 1/9/15. It was not a pleasant experience. I asked for water with lemon on the side. The women working in there gave me a lemon in my water. I then asked for extra lemon and she told me "We don't do that, we don't give extra lemon". I said with a smile "please" and she was taken aback from me asking. She went into the kitchen and got a serving dish and gave me ONE slice of lemon. I proceeded to order my meal. I ordered Lunch special #1 (L1) and Thai Basil Fried Rice. I looked at my daughter and said "You know what you want?" The waiter looked at me and said "You already ordered 2 items". As if I cannot order more than one item. My daughter proceeds to order.
The food comes and to keep a long story short.(because that was not the only ill treatment that we received during this dining experience) The food was not great. The Thai Basil Fried was "extra" spicy. I could not eat it. The other dishes that were ordered were not up to par either.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE -- AT ANYTIME --...
Read moreA friend and I made the decision to come here while sitting in the Wild Fusion parking lot, and it was the best decision ever! Appetizers were the Thai Dumpling (best dipping sauce I have ever had!) and Crab Rangoon (crispy, flaky and creamy all at the same time). I ordered the Asian Snapper, which was surprisingly affordable and tasty as heck. My friend ordered the Panang Salmon, whose peanut, curry style sauce was absolutely delightful, and the string beans were cooked just right. We also ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice to share which was well seasoned and plentiful. Although we were stuffed, we found ourselves continuing to pick off of our plates, until I finally came up with the idea to put a period on the meal with dessert. I had the traditional Coconut Pudding which is delicious if you are into puddings and porridges, and my friend had the Fried Ice Cream. Only when we got the bill, is when we realized that the food was so good that we never even touched our drinks. It's safe to say,...
Read moreI recently ordered takeout from Bangkok Spice, spending $49 on Pad Thai and Tamarind Duck, expecting bold, authentic flavors. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. The Pad Thai was completely bland—lacking any spice or the tangy, savory balance you’d expect from this classic dish. The Tamarind Duck, which I was excited to try, was just as disappointing. It tasted flat, with barely any hint of tamarind or seasoning, and the description of it being served with greens is completely inaccurate as it was served with peppers. For $49, I was expecting something memorable, but this meal was tasteless and felt like no real effort went into the preparation. I ended up throwing out the meals as it was that bad. It was especially frustrating since I went out of my way to pick it up, thinking it would be worth it. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they make serious...
