Buyer beware. Called in ( which takes multiple attempts most nights and your lucky if the phone is answered in a timely manner if at all ) and ordered dinner ( a burger to split and two sides ) from their specials menu and was met with a 40 minute wait ( at least it wasn't an hour like it has been other nights ).

Girl on phone was abrasive taking order and hung up without thanking us for the order or saying goodbye, just 40 minutes and a click.

Drive over to pick up dinner and after waiting online for a short time I was told that they ran out of the sides but the burger was ready and was asked if that was okay. 2/3 of my order wasn't filled and am I okay with that? No heart felt apology, no offer of a discount, no offer of a discounted rushed replacement items, nothing. Just here is your full priced burger, are we good?

I paid and tipped because I'm not sure who's fault it is or who should be punished for this disappointing lack of service but I thought it was about time to leave a review so others might be warned. Other members of my family have ordered brisket from there in the past to be told they were out. How do you run out of bbq food at a bbq restaurant? It seems that it's just par for the course.

Also worth mentioning that they are cash only which isn't terrible but another inconvenience for those not prepared. I can only imagine how many went there trying to pick up dinner to be told that they are cash only forcing them to run to another location to take cash out of their account only to pay for a meal that has cooled off in the wait.

Food is good but I don't think I will be returning there in the future. Time is short and I have no stomach for my time being wasted. To those who work there, please don't at me. I don't want an apology now that I had to cook a meal so that my wife and I could have dinner separately tonight, I don't want an offer for a free meal, gift certificates, or food for life. I am not interested. Please take this review to heart, fix your business, and stop wasting peoples money and time. Put yourself in your customers shoes and try to have some level of empathy and awareness of how you would feel if it was you dealing with the short comings that you were creating and think about what it would take to gain your forgiveness and what type of compensation it would take to...

A place like this I wish I could give 3.5 stars. Google says 3 is 'its ok' and 4 is 'i liked it'. I'm going with 3 because it's closer to 3 than 4 for me.

Now, I'm an out of Towner who travels the taconic parkway with regularity. It is very close to the highway making it very convenient.

I've been here probably 5-6 times. This time the bigger dining room was closed. They probably know when their business is high takeout demand vs sit down. But this place is definitely geared towards take out but it isn't fast food - either in quality or quickness. It isn't fast and the food is very good. But, The ketchup is packets and I didn't see extra bbq sauce. It's designed to have everything to go, but you don't have to go.

The place has a a local feeling but the staff was not overly friendly. But at the same time this place is really geared towards takeout, not trying to earn tips with great service

The food portions are big and very tasty though. Again, my sandwich was dry - could have used some more sauce. But the sweet potato fries were excellent.

Just know cash only and basically take out. If it is nice out there is a gazebo in the complex and some tables.

I'll go again for sure, but don't show up with a family expecting a sit down meal or expect a fast food...

Food is nothing special, everything an average cook can make on his BBQ on the back porch. Service is completely rude. I called in for a menu and they told me they don't have a website, they don't fax menu's, and before I could order verbally without a menu he just hung up on me. So, I called him back and asked if he hung up on me or was the line just dropped and he said "ohh I thought you needed a menu, not to order.... but if you did think I hung up on you and you called me back then you are pretty foolish!" Unbelievable! I will never go there again nor recommend them. Furthermore, I will actually go to the extent of telling people not to go there. When I did go there the greeting at counter was non existent, and I had to say thank you first to get a thank you from them when leaving.
