The Links @ Valley Fields is a fantastic shorter par 3 golf course, perfect for honing short game skills like chipping and flexing irons. It's great for refining your overall golfing game, and I found myself using just a few Irons, PW, and Putter. Walking the course with 2 people, it took about 1hr 1/2 (9 Holes), though we took our time. The course was in great condition, with well-manicured greens and traps. The clubhouse impressed us with its full restaurant and bar with an inviting outdoor seating area. You can tell they put a lot of work and thought into reimagining and updating this course. We're definitely looking forward to returning. They should consider reducing greens fees and expand the local discount to neighboring towns and...
Read moreNice place, friendly people, poor value. I come here because I’m new to golf and I feel comfortable with this course’s low level of difficulty, but it’s simply too expensive for something you can probably finish in an hour or less.
Even the staff seem to know this, since the last time I golfed here the attendant desperately tried to give me a discount, but could only sigh and say “I can’t give ya anything…” when I said I was neither a veteran nor Yorktown resident. So, with what felt like some self-consciousness, he charged me $43 with tax to play on this rather tiny but well-maintained course.

Read moreI drive past this place everyday, a boy just beyond excited to play it. However, the population of Mahopac and the people who play this course must hardly be pushing a job paying $8 an hour with the way they complain about a $40 round of 9. It’s Westchester, not Detroit. This is a place a lot of people put a lot of hard work into, and by all means, go play the other Par 3 in the area. I’m going to begin a petition to up the price to $41 a round just to keep your negativity at home on the La-Z-Boy you bought off of Facebook...
