Romano's Pasta, Pizza & Catering — Restaurant in Town of Yorktown

Not that great, plus the lady at the counter was rude. I call to place an order for PICK UP, and I am greeted by "sigh.... Romanos....". I place my order and go in to PICK UP my food. I get the receipt and just give like .85 cents to round it up as a small "just because" tip. I didnt even need to leave anything since I was there to PICK UP the food. The lady calls over her husband and they are looking at the recpiet and Im pretty sure I heard her mumble "really?" While looking at the recpiet. I asked her if there was a problem and she said "oh nothing your food will be right out" then something about checking on the food or w/e. You're not going to get a reasonable tip if I'm there picking up the food, why do you think you deserve one if you didnt provide me any service? Sorry I left you my change, I guess. Ill just keep it next time, jeez. I rate two stars because the Fettuccine was ok. There were no spices in it though, like no oregano or basil or anything. The pizza tasted pretty bad and the crust was rock hard. Definitely not coming back here. I guess Illl just stick with Peppionos. They are farther away but much better food...

I do not write reviews often. The food here was subpair. Pizza tasted like cardboard and must have been left out waiting to be served for hours. That was bad but when I asked why they did not have a sign up stating that there was a surcharge for Credit cards he pointed to a 2by 4 inch sign on the cash register he was not using that stated there was a discount for cash. He then started to verbal abusing me. After I would not be intimated by his verbal abuse he rush me holding his wooden pizza paddle with the handle in my face. The man is a bully and NO ONE SHOULD EAT IN HIS RESTARANT. As he is physical threating me he keeps saying I want to hit him. Romano's started as our favorite and go-to pizza place in the area. We've recently used them for catering, and they blew away our expectations, the food was absolutely delicious! All of our guests loved the food as well. So we will be going back for more than just pizza. They always, always deliver on time, both when delivering our pizza and the catering orders. When we call, they know who we are, when we walk in, they know who we are. We are always greeted so nicely and the owners are always accommodating. We have toddlers and they are just so nice to us and them and so patient. We recently made some special requests and they accommodated us just so our toddlers were happy.
