UPDATE: I saved the babaganoush for a couple of days because I wanted to make it last and guess what it stayed fresh the whole time that proves that it was freshly made the day they gave it to me thank you wonderful restaurant!
I definitely promise to be back soon!!
Are you kidding me this place is fabulous I don't understand anyone who's writing this place under a five. Sometimes I think there's something wrong with South Tracy's palette. Maybe they like rotten food or something this place was fresh and wonderful I never had such good baba ganoush at a restaurant before ever in my life and I'm not young LOL
The dip with the yogurt an extra cucumbers on the side if you want whatever that stuff is yummy
Cucumbers for the dip above was very fresh freshly cut and a fresh cucumber not an old one laying around like some of these other places this was wonderful and the baba ganoush was so fresh from other places it stings my tongue because it's rotten this place was not rotten it was absolutely fresh and wonderful and they put the most Divine olive oil and everything I don't know where they get it it's wonderful!!!!
And I'm wondering if that pita bread is made right in there it's so soft on the inside and yummy when I buy it at the grocery store it's disgusting but at this place it's wonderful!!!
I'm so glad this is near my house I'm going to be going here a lot I was afraid because of the reviews but I'm glad I wasn't too afraid because it's a five-star place!!!!
Again I repeat there is something wrong with South Tracy's pallet because they rate the other places that have similar food higher but the other places have greasy rotten food and this is the only place where it's fresh and generous helpings and delicious I don't understand. Maybe it's competing restaurants who are writing the bad reviews for this place because they feel threatened or something that's all I can think of because if I was a competing restaurant I might rate this place low because I'd be afraid everybody would go here as it is so delicious and I actually feel better after eating it because the food is so healthy it actually gave me energy which rarely happens for me at restaurants.
Thank you thank you thank you the great Greek Mediterranean restaurant here in South Tracy please stay and everyone come in here and enjoy you won't believe it.
I don't know if this makes any difference but I did order it to go and had it delivered so I don't really know what it's like to eat there but the food is absolutely divine.
Everything was wrapped with care and all the portions were generous my husband had the gyro wrapped in pita bread and I had a bite of it and it was absolutely wonderful!!
My husband loved it too and he's one...

The Great Greek catered my son's birthday, and everything was beyond amazing. From the very beginning, they were so easy to work with and helped me plan the perfect menu for my party. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everyone was delighted and kept talking about how tasty everything was.
They delivered the food warm and ready to serve in organized trays, which made setup effortless. There was plenty of food for the price, and it looked and tasted incredible. I was so impressed that they also brought a lot of serving utensils, which I wasn’t even expecting. That was such a thoughtful touch and made things so much easier. The salad dressing came separately, which was very well planned out and kept everything crisp and fresh.
I highly recommend The Great Greek for parties, family gatherings, and corporate events. They offer great options for vegetarians and people with specialty diets, so everyone has something delicious to enjoy. It was truly the best choice for my event, and everything was easy, plentiful, and...
Read moreLamb was tough and little gamy. Beef and chicken good. Don't know why so many people were praising the lemon potatoes. They were basically potatoes with lemon on them. Nothing special and would definitely not order again. On the other hand the feta fries were delicious. They were seasoned, had melted cheese, was very good, probably one of the best things I ate. Got a side of falafel which was also very good. Side salad was ok. For a Greek place that has pita bread accompanying most of the dishes, I expected it to be a lot better. It was kind of hard and stale and tasted like something you buy in a grocery store. Service was prompt but odd. Servers kept bringing food to the end of table that already had food, asking who had what. Didn't you give everyone a different order number to put on the table? Overall thought the food was overpriced and mediocre. Probably...
