So I was at work thinking about a fish sandwich and my coworker told me about this place I drove 4 miles to get there! On my lunch break mind you. Got there the place was just as she explained a little small joint but they serve “great food “she said. I ordered the fish the portion was very large but it taste like paper there was absolutely no seasoning in the cornmeal or whatever it is he uses nor on the fish I was so disappointed with the taste also I ordered french fries to go with my fish crinkle cut french fries were dark brown and hard too hard for me to actually enjoy Crinkle Cut french fries are supposed to be crisp on the outside and soft on the inside these were hard as rocks. He asked if he could give me extra hot sauce I said sure then try to charge me for it not only that the hot sauce was like no other add some type of peppers or something inside of it was not hot and taste it like the refrigerator it...

This is the first online review I've ever done. Not worth the hype! The only taste the fish has is the over used oil it was fried in. Halushki was bland and overcooked. When my wife asked if she could buy a small piece of fish on the side so I might try it. She was told they don't do that and then added that they sell thousands of fish sandwiches so they must be good. My wife added a fish sandwich to our order just so I could taste this famous local delicacy. We live in the area and have talked about ordering for like 15 years so we finally did. My wife was so excited and then to have her treated like that really sucks. Like I said, not worth the hype. Oh, and change your oil!...

Best fish around. One sandwich easily feeds 2 people. You'll need an extra bun. One container of Keith's homemade hot sauce is included, if hot is your thing.

Best eaten there. Soft drinks served...BYOB for beer. There's a bar right across the street where you can get a 6 pack or single.

If you do get "take out " immediately open the foil to allow the heat to vent. Otherwise the trapped heat will cause the crisp breading to get soggy and fall apart. Also request the bun(s) to be placed in the bag separately, when ordering.

I avoid it Fridays during Lent, they are super, super busy.
