We had our kitchen done about a year ago. I've had some time to think about the experience, and overall, it was just ok.

Likes: Design- Todd had a lot of great suggestions on how to make our kitchen look nicer and more functional. Quality - the cabinet quality is good and they are still looking and functioning great a year later Price - the price for the work we had done seemed very fair. Also, Tony the tile guy did amazing work on the backsplash

Dislikes:

Pretty much the whole install. No one came to our actual kitchen during the design. It was done entirely through photos. This lead to some issues that delayed our installation.. like the miscommunication about the pantry depth so that it wouldn't interfere with door trim. They didn't have a saw to cut it down, so the gigantic cabinet sat in our dining room for 3 weeks until they came back. Also, they removed a pendent light that was blocking the new uppers, and the finished product (cap on the ceiling) looked stupid. I've also noticed that some of the uppers aren't completely evel, and my peninsula isnt square to the wall. They added switches for my under cabinet lights, and instead of combining them with the switches that were already there (like a double box), they added two new boxes so that I had 4 different switches spaced randomly on the backsplash wall. Again, functional, but did not look great. I feel like at least a few of these issues could have been avoided if they had come to see the space in person.

Overall, I was slightly disappointed. The vision and price was great, but the execution seemed rushed and sloppy, like they did it the easiest way possible rather than a way that worked and also...

I don't do reviews but Tri County Kitchens is worth the time. We are so pleased with everything about our new kitchen. Todd’s design was perfect for our needs and his moving of the sink to the corner was a brilliant suggestion. It has given me counter space that i never thought was possible in my kitchen. All his suggestions were spot on.

Jim made any changes or questions that I had so very easy to deal with. After hearing nightmares about home renovations we were nervous. We had waited over 30 years to get our kitchen renovated but the result was well worth the wait Jim answered my emails immediately and helped me with any ideas or issues that I had. Dave was meticulous in his work, and we have not been able to find a single thing to complain about. He and Andy were entertaining and so easy to have around. Jake from Armina Stone was so patient with me and put up with my many visits to make up my mind. Tony and Evan did a great job on the tile for the backsplash. Everyone showed up when they promised and the time actually went by quickly.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled by Tri-County Kitchens and now fully understand why they are chosen as Readers Gold Choice Award winners each and every year. We are extremely impressed with the overall quality of our kitchen and hard work that went into it. From the moment we first entered the showroom until the last day of installation, Todd and all the employees made us feel as though we were their only customers.

Our old kitchen had layout issues. Todd’s experience and design expertise gave us double the counterspace and things that we didn’t feel were possible.

The installers treated our home with the utmost respect and care. They were very professional and did a Fantastic job. And they arrived every morning when they said they would.

We sincerely appreciate how everything was thoroughly explained to us every step of the way. The few questions and concerns that we had were addressed and promptly resolved.
