Papa Rocks Pizza Pub — Restaurant in Monroeville

Disappointing experience. Stopped by for dinner and drinks Friday April 1st after work with a group of coworkers. Everything started out good but went down hill quickly. The waitresses seemed to forget about us, we had to flag her down for refills. She brought out appetizers but no plates for the group. Then as our food was coming out, only half the people got their food. Her excuse was it's very busy and the kitchen is running behind.......that would of been a good reason however we watched tables come in well after we ordered and received their food before us. When I asked how that's even possible I never got a response. Now it was a Friday during lent and they were busy, but we all ordered the "specials ". The tables receiving their food before us all had ordered the specials also. That's why I was confused as to why ours took over a hour almost a hour and half to receive. Then once I personally got my sandwich, they never brought the side that was supposed to come with it. By this time our waitresses swapped us to another waitresses, who said she'd take care of it. We got our bill and she gave us a 5 dollar discount, but was charged the full amount when she ran the card. Thanks forno discount and no side for my sandwich. We'll find another restaurant to...

Papa Rocks REALLY dropped the ball on this one. I ordered food for a friend. After it being 25min late I called to find out why the food never showed up. The person on the phone saw the order come in and said it was accepted, but for some unknown reason the kitchen never made it. I heard someone in the background say "that's what they get for ordering online". REALLY?!?! Anyway, since the order was now going to arrive at an unreasonable hour and the friend and his family already ate because they were beyond hungry at this point, I asked: "Can you just make it tomorrow and deliver it then so they can eat it fresh?" They said "No, you would need to reorder it tomorrow." Unfortunately I already paid for it online, including a prepaid tip, so apparently I was supposedly screwed. My friend is receiving a large food order extra late in the evening and after they ended up already eating. This has been a very bad and costly experience to get food that will need reheated the following day. I'm sure its going to suck. I would've given them zero stars or negative stars, just like the negativity that they gave me. "That's what they get for ordering...

The last time I ordered anything was the eer battered fish and onion rings during lent. I used to get food here every other weekend. The Italian hogies are always top notch. Their wings are pretty good too. The chicken hogie and steak houses also good. But during lent last year and this year we're nightmares.. I had to wait both times for almost 2 hours...for fish and fries...the second time the said 30 to 45 min. So 45 min I go in they said they're behind it would be another 3l25 min I goes back in and they said an hour.. so my significant other (spouse) wonders why my face looked hotter than their oven..he goes in and they're looking for our order saying it's not made yet..it wink be another 30 min..so he said he's not waiting 30 more min..he stood there as he watched them make our order until it was done...that was the exact same line of b.s. they gave me the year before...so...
