Subway — Restaurant in Traverse City

This place has gone right down hill in the last month. Not sure what happened but it's terrible. One week ago I walked in and ordered my sandwich from a young man that spoke very bad broken English. OK, that's fine until I had to repeat myself 5 times just on my sandwich. I said I would like a LG drink also. He said the pop machine isn't working. I had a coupon to use when I went to pay. He said the coupon machine doesn't work. I asked him to take care of it manually. He repeated the machine isn't working and it was his first day. I'm sure that was a lie because he was alone and he knew what went on the sub I ordered. It came to 16 dollars and some change for a sub and chips and cookie. I asked him how it got that high and he just stood there and pointed at the card machine as if to say just put your card in and shut up. I paid and then he threw the receipt at me and walked away. I’ve had a couple bad experiences at different subways but this place actually deserves a review. It’s fall and cooler temps out so going into a sandwich place with open meat and veggies can be a real turn off when flies are everywhere. Got a cookie to get me to the next sandwich place and the cookie was so hard I couldn’t eat it. Worst subway I’ve ever been in. The lettuce was brown the tomatoes were yellow and again the flies being everywhere made me wanna puke. It seem more like a open environment butcher shop. The staff seemed fine but apparently when you’re paying people a lot of money to make sandwiches now they don’t actually take care of the establishment itself. They just make sandwiches 🤦‍♂️. Um no just no. I am a kid and when I went here I even noticed how unprofessional the place was. Let me start with the service, the service was veryyy slow and the employees were rude. I went here for dinner with my dad and didn’t even get to eat because of how disgusting and disrespectful the place was. I have been to this subway many times but this time was very different. The one employee was slamming things around and yelling when customers were claiming they ordered online and were still waiting after the eh called 25 minutes ago. People were very patient and saying you guys are doing great trying to get the guy to calm down. When people would tell him what they would want he would sit there and complain the whole time.
