Emiliano VIP Bar — Restaurant in Trenton

When I went, they had their grand opening the Sunday before. Not going to lie, was planning on going to Amici's for my birthday dinner. My dad and I decided to stay. The waitress was super nice and welcoming! The chef came out to great us as well. My dad and I ordered the fried calamari, it was light and crisp. I was never a fan of heavily breaded calamari and it had an extra bite to it as well. My dad ordered shrimp scampi and I ordered their penne vodka with chicken. They were so delicious! I had to stop myself from finishing because I wanted to have it for another day! The drinks were good as well. The chef told us about his paella and showed us a picture of the mounds of seafood in it, so we will definitely be back for that!...

Came here as part of the Taste of Trenton weekend in June 2019. Good part is that the empanadas we ordered were delicious, came out relatively quickly, and were inexpensive ($2 each). Bad part is that the decor of the restaurant is terribly outdated, there are literally 16 video cameras inside (is this a restaurant or a bank?), and service was poor. Our waitress (who was also the bartender) was obviously scrambling trying to wait both sides of the restaurant AND bartend. Each time she came over to interact with us she was short and unengaging--when taking our orders, when bringing us our food, and when bringing us the bill. Just really rundown. Could be better. Parking is dearly...

2nd time comming here and its horrible... owner is drunk herself... drinks are watered down... drank one shot of patron that tasted watered down beers are sour ... wouldn't recommend it to anyone...
