Guaterico Deli — Restaurant in Trenton

Me and my partner get food from here at least twice a month! Before everything was great until now that they have messed up the service. I guess new personnel. The last three times we have order has been a nightmare. First time they said our food would be deliver in 35 to 45 minutes but they literally took 2 hours. Second time they messed up our order. Third time they forgot some of our sauce which we paid extra for and also messed up the order. When we called them about this issue they suggested us to come personally and pick up the right one instead of been polite to the customer and just deliver again but with the right order knowing that it is not the customers fault. I suggest anyone who wants food deliver to just go personally and pick it up or else they will most likely have issues with their order. Another thing is that the personnel that take the orders are not professional. They talk real nasty and laughing with each other as they talk to you. They think I guess nobody is listening to them while on the phone just talking profanity and laughing about the mistake they made. I use to love this place but after these last experiences we will definitely not order from them again and order elsewhere. I highly don't recommend order for delivery from this place. I must say that the delivery guy with the blue car is very professional and a caring person who took care of us and was very apologetic even though it wasn't his fault....

A friend and I were in Trenton for a few hours and were very excited to know they had a Guatemalan restaurant nearby the station! I lived in Guate for a year and this friend had come to visit. We both LOVED the food and missed it. We ordered pupusas and pepian de pollo. The pupusas were fantastic! I highly recommend them.The pepian was also good. We could not stay and enjoy (covid), and so we had to wait 10 minutes or so for our food to be ready. We did not mind. The people were kind and worked as fast as they could. You can tell people love ordering from there because in the 10+ mins we were in there, they had many phone calls and pick ups.

Typical deli set up with most people Take out and some tables for dine in, but the foods are out of this world. We stopped by to order pupusas because I’m 32 weeks pregnant and that’s all I have on my mind. Wow we’re so happy and impressed to hit up this local spot. Looking over the menu for the first time, we ended up ordering a mixed 3 pupusas (chicharon, queso, and loroco), mix of 3 tacos (asada, al pastor and lingua), and carne asada. Were they delicious and amazingly friendly service. We don’t really speak much Spanish so took a little Google translate to understand some of the dishes but they were so patient.
