I definitely won't be coming back. My experience started off with me having to ask several times what flavor was the cake because I just wanted a simple vanilla cake. The lady who first assisted me confirmed it was vanilla. I then asked for Happy Birthday Grandpa to be written in blue writing. The lady who assisted me then gathered around 3 girls who were all contemplating who was going to write on the cake. Another woman stepped up confidently to voluntarily write it in which the woman who first helped me communicated to her that I wanted Grandma written. As I shouted across the now packed bakery (simply there's space to fit maybe five people because huge tables in the way) that I wanted grandpa, the lady acknowledged my request and took back the cake to be written on. She comes back minutes lady to say they have no blue ICING. (Keep icing in your mind). The first woman who assisted me then comes back to me to say now that the cake is half chocolate and vanilla, which is fine but a little bothersome considering I asked several times and stated I wanted vanilla. I wait 10 minutes for 3 words to be written and then be handed this - a gel, all caps, different size letters, crooked mess with random exclamation marks after birthday and random squiggly at the bottom. I kindly paid and left but I'm highly disappointed to bring this to my grandpa's birthday lunch.

Read moreVery nice service … but horrible tasting cupcakes. I ordered last minute cupcakes for the next day pre made. But I think they were already put on display before I bought them had to been for at least 4 days( estimate time they looked beautiful but they tasted horrible. It was for a class bday party. I think I saw one kids shoot his in the trash like he was playing basketball. The class age was 4 and5 year olds they will eat anything with sugar in them at that age. But when I tasted one it automatically gave me that sour bread taste. I am low keyed embarrassed I just think if they been on display that long they should be trashed.I thought they were baked and that day. I think you guys should of been clear on how long they were sitting on display. I know in 1-2 days they still taste good anywhere after 3 is not eatable…. I felt as if I would of went to Walmart and bought their pre made cupcakes they would of been fresher. … But I guess last minute and desperate means sell pass freshness date.I have been a customer of IPB since 2009. I moved from Cumberland County and this had been my number one bakery since but I think this situation has changed my mind.. They were very expensive too $60 for 30 cupcakes……But they day was saved by a regular carvel cake. 😡 next time do not offer stale cupcakes too anyone...
Read moreOne of my biggest pet peeves, which I find that mostly grown and old adults do is when you're calling out to them, either to ask a question or to speak to them, they know they hear you, you know they hear you, and they PURPOSELY IGNORE YOU. Came here to pick up a Grubhub order, said to the woman behind the counter "excuse me" because I needed to know where the order was to pick up, and she PURPOSELY IGNORED ME. What the hell?! Called out to her again, and she just kept on ignoring. I really dont ubderstand why adults do this. I was very tempted to call Grubhub right in front of her face and inform her that the restaurant employee did not want to give me the food because I literally did not know what else to do. I had to do my job! I called out to her twice, maybe three times and she ignored me some more, making me look like a fool and embarrassing me in front of the other customers there. That is not the way to treat a person. It's extremely rude. I don't care how stressed you are. You don't take out your frustration on other people by being rude. I'll have to ask Grubhub to block this restaurant from my radar so I never have to recieve orders from this ridiculous place, and drivers beware! You might get treated...
