Well let me start with my daughter wanted a cupcake. They advertise they are a bakery but they had only cake slices so then she wanted pancakes wow what a disaster when you cut pancakes they are not supposed to turn to mush..I ordered a grilled chicken ceasar salad when it came out was a big box of romaine lettuce and croutons burnt chicken that's it I had to ask for onions when i said to her that's it that's the salad she says yes that's how we make our salads.Never again....Pancakes in trash where they belong hope they get a better cook or they will not last long I know when I go out and pay for food i would expect it to be Alot better.Just reading my response from owner well instead of trying to turn my comment into my fault for ordering from your restaurant you should have tried as a business owner to fix it..if your restaurant does not put tomatoes or onions on a salad this would be the first I experience that..my review is just that my review if the food was not good that's my opionion I make very good pancakes at home and they never turn to mush.I review most places I eat and if it's not good I say it it's my money I'm spending I expect for it to as good or even better then what I make.Check your menu on the front it has a Chicken Ceasar Salad on it.I asked for onions not a couple things to be put on my salad when I asked you what is this was where is everything at for the salad your response was that's how you make your salads so of course I didn't ask for anything else.but that's your picture on the menu not mine.So when I ordered a chicken ceasar salad I expected it to look similar not just a box of lettuce with a piece of burnt chicken.Only time will...

This is more of a local Costa Rican spot, and is suited for that. If your dialect of Spanish is not Costa Rican, the waitress will snobishly take her time to correct you to the way they say or use it in the most attention grabbing manor she can muster. I can't believe people still run around today thinking every Spanish speaking culture or people use the language in the exact same way.
Litterally this lady decided to get into a corrective debate over "Empanado" vs. "Empanizado", that just made the whole visit awkward. I should have gotten up and left but my family was hungry so I decided not to make a big stink about it.
I think it tool her a few mins to figure out how her table side manor was wrong and withdrew from my family and I, the other waitress took care of us for the rest of the visit.
If thier stick is only catering to Costa Rican Spanish then cool, say so at the door and only offer English menus if you aren't going to tolerate other dialects of spanish.
I intentionally drove 45 mins North to check this place out and maybe get some long missed Spanish soul food. Ended up getting some Olive Garden on the way home.
Also, don't ask for water, it's litterally unfilterd water from the sink. The smell of chlorine just punched me in the eye.
Not meant to bash and I hope they improve, maybe I'll revisit some time in the far future. Paid our tables tab, bought deserts, and quietly left. I'm not much into karening out in public, strongest message you can send a business is to not spend...
Read moreHorrible, horrible service! Our first time in NJ. Our first time stopping at this restaurant. We sat ourselves. We ordered sprite with a cup of ice and they gave us 5 tiny cubes each. While we were ordering our tacos we informed her that we didn't want any onions on them because we can't eat them and then she asked if we wanted yellow or white rice. Not thinking anything of it and having ordered yellow rice in the past we asked for yellow rice. When the food arrived the rice was FULL of onions amd peas amd carrots amd other veggies. I asked if I could change it out for white rice because she didn't inform us of everything that would come in the rice knowing we asked for no onions in our main dish and she said we have to pay for a different size of rice and very rudly told us that we should have known what came in the yellow rice because that the only way it comes. And i would have been fine paying for it but just the attitude she gave us after was the icing in the cake. They were gnats all over we had to keep shooing them away. And waited so long for the check. Just all in all a...
