Update: The food is still delicious. The customer service has gotten better. However, they have reduced their portion sizes. The former small is now the large and they have a new smaller small. You can now get maybe 2 meals out of the medium, which is still a decent deal.

The food is delicious. It tastes just like your mom's, dad's grand pappy's, auntie's, etc. The portion sizes are generous. I can usually get 3 meals out of their large portion. I took 1 star off because customer service is horrible . The people at the counter range from aloof on a good to straight up disrespectful on a bad day. Also, there is no consistent menu. You have to call ahead to see what available. I'll definitely keep coming here because it's the best Haitian food...

The new lady that they gave making the platters is not good for busy at all every single time I go there I have to argue with her about playing with me and my food for some reason she don't like to give you what you are playing for she will purposely dig through the food until she finds what she wants to give you and by the time she makes her mind up you have mostly bone to eat with your rice!!😢 and please don't ask for some of the juice to go over you're rice so it's not so dry cause she really gets upset all this after her has played with you're food while you wait I wish the mother was still living that's when this place was a joy to go for food now its going downhill and all because of this one...

Pick up to go! This place gets a four for the AWESOME FOOD IT HAS. This is your typical hole in the wall type restaurant, (those that have banging food, but you don't go to sit there and eat). I always go for griot et banan pesee, which is Fried Pork and fried plantains! I get the large for $12 and it feeds two people. Prices are pretty low, the wait time is not that long depending on the time you arrive, note that busy times are 4-6 when people are leaving from work. Also try the Kabrit, (fried goat) which is really good, as well as the Ke Bef (Oxtail) The decoration is lacking because it is a hole in the wall, but that's the charm! Who doesn't like a hole...
