Updated: As promised, I gave this restaurant a second try and I have upgraded the rating. This time I tried the Burger 44 and the Pop Tots and I'm glad I did. The burger was offered with many choices of quality breads and different choices of cheese. The meat is said to be Texas Angus beef and I believed it. The burger was very good. The Pop Tots are tater tots topped with a jalapeno sauce, which were also good. A little bit about the service. I found the table side service average at best but I am upgrading the service because of the attentiveness from the Chef. I watched him work the tables. When he was not cooking, he was on the floor speaking with the patrons and was very sincere in asking how the food tasted. This guy is a keeper. Sorry, I didn't get a picture of the burger. I was half way through it before I realized my mistake. Just trust me and try it!
I had not tried this restaurant and was looking for something new. Scotts was located in what I would call the Town's Square. It appears to be a bar at night that contains a substantial kitchen space. The restaurant also seemed to be popular with the locals. I wanted to try the pizza but when I asked what was popular, the waitress replied, Philly cheese. I'm always open to a Philly sandwich, so why not. The Philly sandwich is far from a traditional Philly. It was not bad, it was just very different. It has some type of gravy on the sandwich. The fries are called smokey fries. They were also different. Somehow, they infuse the fries with a strong smokey flavor. This smokey taste stayed with me for the rest of the day. I'm wondering if they use Liquid Smoke to get this flavor. Anyway, I think that their Philly being so different, threw me off. Since the locals seem to like this place so much and they have pizza in their name, I'm going back, to try...
Read moreGood place to stop in Gibson County. Food was decent but not quite what I would call Chicago style. Just because you hang a sign in a window saying that you use products from Vienna doesn’t necessarily make the place Chicago style. A lot of restaurants market themselves as certain style. It doesn’t matter just as long as the food is good. I would have liked to come back on a week day to check out some of their menu items as they have limited menu choices on Sunday but the owner is abrasive and gets butt hurt if you make a comment regarding anything to do with his food. I could have said his pizza sucked and had too much cheese on it making it watery and greasy but no I complimented him on the use of the red onions and bbq sauce that was just right. I’m in the top 10% for google reviews so I know what I’m talking about. Personally seeing this guys reaction to that Italian beef beef commit just goes to show you why some people shouldn’t be in business. It would be wise for him to learn the old adage the customer is always right especially during these tough...

Fine it happens. During the time we waited Two 2 couples were sat and received food and were eating. Waitress said ours was almost ready We watched her put a to go order to the side. Since she didn't bring it to us, we thought it was for someone else. Nope it was brought to us 6 mins later and we were told the "computer" didn't send my order back just his!!!!! So 8 mins later order came. The short of it l, our to go order took a total of 45 mins. The sandwichs were wonderful even hubby's lukewarm brisket. The fries were cold both orders. The Philly cheese Steak was great and hot. If the service had been decent I would have given 5 stars..Server apologize but didn't follow up at all. Tipped anyway but she truly dropped the ball. Scott's gets great reviews and I will try them again just NOT when I'm on...
