I visited Seafood No.1 today around 3 ish. I ordered Catfish and fries. I rated the food good on google's scale, however the fish was salty as hell. I am on heart medicine and a low sodium diet, so saltiness is easy to pick up. Fries very soggy frommy 7-10 minute ride home. The place is very small but lively. Yet the employees are very friendly. You can call or order at location but it is TAKE OUT ONLY. I can cook extremely well so this food was not to my standard but It was tolerable. I think they would benefit to some type delivery service because they can make more money to serve more people. It was very clean. Only 4 average sized people can be in at the same time. Numerically I give them: 5 on food. 1 on decor because the only thing I seen was an Obama poster. 10 on service because the people are very friendly. Being that I am a cook, I noticed that they have a 4 bay deep fryer and can only make that many things.
Suggestion: Delivery service and buy the empty lot next door and expand. Bigger building means you can cook more. Cooking more=...

Like the reviews read, the customer service experience is SUB-PAR. The mother behind the counter is warm, energetic and funny (and frankly the only reason to visit). However that DAUGHTER- Good Lawd she is mean and unapproachable!!!
A simple "Welcome! How can I help?" might have made me over-look the bland and over-cooked noodles in my Mac & cheese.
Less attitude would have convinced me to disregard the excessively breaded and flavorless shrimp.
Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. I wouldn't say that Popeye's is "BETTER", but at least you know what you're getting when you go to...
