New Jersey State Library — Attraction in Trenton

For someone who can make the best of any library, this one wasn't worth the trip. There was a very rude, difficult woman with an extremely heavy accent working on the ground floor there when I visited. While I kept my feelings to myself, and didn't make a scene, I'm curious as to how she ever ended up working in a state library in the US. There’s not much else to say about this library... it's not pleasant to look at, or visit, or study. The pickings are very slim outside of the law library. There’s free garage parking. This afternoon in Roselle Park Veterans Memorial Library I was talking to the Supervisor or some dope that runs that library about the current problems with the computers. She has all this money to place bird house figures on the property yet when it comes to fixing the computers servers and hiring a internet technicial she is loss for words...waste of 90K a year for the RP...

While designed as a law library; this library is a terrific library for the everyday layman. Always ovwrstaffed; there are no shortages of people to help you. They are kind, decent, friendly people and pleasant to work with. They have public computers and ample working space. Very under utilized. Highly...
