Benito's Pizza of Troy — Restaurant in Troy

If I could give a lower rating I would but I can’t it’s not the food that’s the problem it’s the service…. Called after waiting an hour… young man tells me they were swamped… and my food would be delivered soon as the driver got back to the store to pick it up and bring it to me…. At that point I realize that I would be waiting an extra maybe 20 to 30 minutes I canceled the order right then and there didn’t even except a credit for the next order, was so upset with how bad the service was ,you could at least call me and let me know.. jets pizza would never js I didn’t even except a $40 credit for my next order meaning it would be free….sometimes life is not about the money it’s really what you’re paying for service… I honestly recommend...

Toppings were fine and the crust was decent. I ordered extra sauce because we like a little more than most places put on their pizza. Also, we don't often get Benito's so I didn't want to take a chance on getting too little sauce. I ordered three pizzas - every one had almost no sauce whatsoever. If there had been even an average amount of sauce, the pizza would have been a bit above average. I also ordered a large antipasto salad. It is a really small salad for $10.99. It had very little pepperoni or salami on it. Too many other better pizza choices around for me to try this again...

The staff at the front cashier, I saw her touching the floor a few times because things fell on the floor—while I was waiting for pizza, she was preparing a to-go order of salad and dressing for someone else—dressing fell on the floor, she picked up from the floor and packed it right inside the to-go bag—she didn’t wash hands afterwards nor getting a different dressing from refrigerator—so when she was about to cut my pizza, I asked her to wash her hands—she argued that she’s trying to not touch the pizza with her fingers—I had to talk her into washing hands before touching pizza...
