My husband has been on a boba kick lately, so I found this place for us to try. I had a mango slushie tea with cheese foam and bursting mango boba and my husband had milk tea with cheese foam and extra chewy boba. Inside the location, it was very cute and clean. I ordered online and picked up inside. Service was good. The woman that helped us seemed very sweet. As for how we enjoyed our drinks, my mango slushie tea was very good! After having chewy boba a few times, the bursting boba was a bit of a shock but it was fun and yummy! Might be better for kids or those that don't care for the texture of chewy boba. It was cool and refreshing. I chose 100 percent sugar. If you are sensitive to sweetness, i would go down one knotch but if you want something with some sweetness, 100 is just about perfect. My husband loved his milk tea with boba. He did 100 percent sugar and it wasnt too sweet. Seemed a little less sweet compared to mine. I was a bit worried about the cheese foam and not knowing how it would affect the flavor of the drink but it didn't blend together too much so I had the chance to taste it before I mixed it in more. It wasn't bad at all! Online I saw it was mostly cream cheese in case that offers an idea about the flavor but it wasn't too strong. also the cups were so cute and thoughtful! They really invested in their presentation and it made the drinking process so much more fun! We will be back. My husband said he wants to go back today!!

I completely forgot to take pictures of my drinks. However, I did take pictures of the menu. It was a little confusing for an old gal like me. I am not a technical person. I hate the QR code menu systems, I hate having to stand at a computer to order my own stuff without a lot of help from the staff and then expected to tip on my already $17 worth of drinks (2). That being said, I had the jasmine milk tea. 30% sweet , less ice, and the chewy Boba. My drink was great. My daughter had the matcha Brule with the chewy Boba, 50% sweet and less ice. She said hers tasted like grass. I am used to asking for tapioca pearls (Boba), which is not how it's listed on the menu. The little lady had to give me her phone, and I spoke into the translation app for her to understand what I was asking for. She said I needed to order the chewy Boba, and it was not black like I was used to. The place is really clean, but in a really obscure location right outside of the Troy University boundaries. I am not from the area, but I was lucky enough to be sitting at the stoplight and saw it. I would recommend it - even though it's pricey.

Customer Service and Drink: At first when we got there no one was there so we went to the kiosk to start our order, but shortly after a nice lady came out and greeted us. I got the creme brulee, with cheese foam and coconut lychee. I loved it! The lady was very nice. It was my first time there and had never heard of or even tried cheese foam but the lady there let me try a little spoon size of it and I liked it, it was different but good. I am definitely coming again next time I’m in town! Atmosphere: I also liked the little vibe in there, they had some little games to play, I enjoyed it all around. I would recommend them have some light music playing just to not have it too quiet in there.

So I have been getting “bubble tea” milk tea/smoothies since 9 years old. I’ve had them in Alaska, Washington State, California, Georgia, etc. at multiple different ethnicity of asians’ restaurant/smoothie shops and never in the 20+ years of getting them has a TARO BLENDED MILK TEA been brown with boba that I didn’t ask for. Its purple. You know it purple west coast and east coast and even bible belt southern Alabama knows. Why? Because it comes from a purple yam. I know my stuff(also worked at one) I don’t like the tapioca balls so the fact that you put them in. Irritating.

This is something I really want you to understand. Stop using CHILDREN as your interpreter. First that’s illegal (CHILD LABOR) and second you’re forcing a child to grow up too fast because a 6/7 year old doesn’t understand when an adult is asking if you have blended/smoothie style of this drink then he shouldn’t be the one running the store. Second for the love of God I get it. You’re trying to get your business off the ground and I don’t care if someone’s english is broken. But not knowing ANY. AT ALL. Is problematic. Because now against my better judgement not only did I PRE TIP due to this ridiculous tip culture I walked away empty handed. I showed photos after seeing her clearly make a drink I did not order and the fact that a basic photo of a blended/smoothie style taro no boba looked foreign to her after she gave me the brown mud booboo drink lets me know you shouldn’t be in business. Its top 5 most popular flavor. So don’t play me. You have my $8 but now you lost a possible forever customer and I will be making this review on every platform you’re on.

Too many options for a very simple setup. Nothing looks fancy about your place but your menu prepay machine is just unorganized and shouldn’t be opaque cups but actually the COLOR AND TYPE (iced, blended, hot) via picture for your customer AND YOUR STAFF…for...
