The Newly Renovated Front Porch — Restaurant in Troy

I’m not sure why the most popular bar in Troy could have possibly turned into this place but I was able to reconnect with friends no matter how rude certain individuals that were off duty treated my friend and myself. The music was I guess age appropriate but at least in poor taste at best and not enjoyable at all . There were no pool cue sticks and the pool tables were in extreme disaster This iconic institution of our community deserves better representation than its current receiving from it and I hope it was an isolated incident and it might one day be the appropriate representation of The Trojan...

I like coming here but they need more bartenders on busy nights, on those nights It almost never fails to literally be waiting for 45 mins at the bar to get a drink. Also why close at 2 when you have a full bar? 1:59 on the dot they’re screaming for everyone to get out as if they don’t want to make money. Where I’m from bars close at 4 or depending on how busy they are. It’s a little dumb to close when you have so many people in there and kicking them...

It’s not a game day. When we walked in nobody was at the door. We walked to the bar and was asked for our ids and a $20 a piece cover charge at 1 am. We didn’t have cash so we’d pay on a card. Our card was returned with a receipt and a pin and asked us to sign it but never asked if we wanted a drink. ALL AROUND BAD...
