Crown Pizza of Trumbull — Restaurant in Trumbull

I went in after a long day of work ordered a extra large 1/4th white pizza and 3/4th meat lovers pizza. A 2 Liter of Ice Tea. Order was to go. Guy said 20 minutes. thats the usual time it takes to make a pizza right? So in the mean time sat down inside with a glass and a slice of mushroom. Inside was clean, variety of soda was normal. A mix of everything.

So The pizza is done and the guy said the there was a mix up and a large was made. Personally If I was not told that I would have not known. Which is what happens alot in the restaurant business sadly, you order one thing and they pan it off as the other item. The guy infront gave me a second box with the 4 additional slices to make up for the difference. Imagine that, a restaurant owning up to their mistake and making up for it.

That is high class. 5 star review does not do justice at all for this place. Recommended highly by me for their friendly service and honesty. But hey take my review with skepticism if you want, that will just be your loss. for missing out on this...

Went to visit to use a "local flavor" coupon and based on the recommendation of a coworker. Was pretty disappointing. The place is dirty and unkempt on the inside. Flies are out of control on the inside and landing all over the food. The tables are not wiped down and pretty filthy. Also, note that the PRICES ON THE MENU DO NOT MATCH THE CURRENT PRICE YOU'LL BE CHARGED. Brought this forward to the guy ringing me out and was told "yea those menus aren't updated, just for informational purposes." Definitely don't plan on eating here, you'll be lucky to even get a fork or knife. Also, the soda machine doesn't work so they won't even give you a cup of water. They expect you to buy from the case. It seems like the bulk of their business is maybe takeout or delivery. I guess people just settle for mediocre food around here. Won't be returning...

Ordered from Crown tonight and was disappointed. The two times my coworkers and I had previously ordered, the food was good, delivery was timely and we had no issues. Tonight the food took almost an hour and a half to arrive and was freezing cold and the pasta over cooked. My coworer could not even eat the pizza, so I called to talk with the phone person to make them aware. I know they were busy, but I felt rushed off the phone, and they told us maybe the food was cold, because we were too far away. If our location is too "far away" then say that our location is out of your delivery range and don't deliver subpar food to people. We can pick another place to order from if you do not deliver to our area. Very simple. This was never an issue before. Manager at least offered our next meal free, so...
