These people have a menu online total price per menu was under $50 they charged me $111 because it was weekend. Was a scam. Update the menu to let people know. Food was not great either. Itās too bad because I like to support small local shops but this is ridiculous. Either donāt list prices or be honest.
Also they forgot order of sausage and we had to go back. One of the cooks said in Spanish oh maybe my husband who picked up order ate themā¦not realizing Spanish people come in all colors they assumed he was not Spanishā¦. he heard and understood everything they said. I would never go back.
Per your response below I called before putting this review and spoke to Mary (The Manager) and she could careless of my concern. I am not one to just put bad reviews out but after a call and the insult to my husband you did not seem concerned about my business. Yes the restaurant business is tough but as a per that works with clients, customers satisfaction and customer concerns should be one of your top priorities. Be honest and if your prices are fluctuating by double then donāt list prices on your menus. If your doubling the price just because itās the weekend the in my opinion your price gouging. The food is still amazing. However, the service has declined tremendously. We took note of how a family next to us, 5 people (as we were also), were tended to more frequently than us AND received their food before us. And yet, sat down after us. Maybe it's because they were Hispanic, and we aren't. I had questions about the bill and pricing. (They didn't write any prices on the bill) They were charging us an extra $1 for an item until I corrected them. She didn't take the a moment to go over the bill with me, so who knows how much extra I paid and didn't have to. All the while, she was rude and short with me and had the audacity to raise her voice at me. Unfortunately, we will not be back and that's a FACT!!! TC&G got it right, in spades. Everything here is made from scratch or locally sourced, and it shows. The corned beef hash was on par with some of the best Iāve had. Homemade, perfectly cooked and crisped, not a drop of extra moisture. The eggs, over-easy, were a tad over-buttered, but with the massive crowd lasting nearly till lunch, a little bit of extra color on the white could be excused. Rounded off by stellar hash browns, again, good crisp, not too much moisture, this was the best breakfast Iāve had out in some time.
Call ahead, the place is tiny and busy, and while they donāt take reservations, at least youāll know how long youāll be waiting. I went on a Wednesday around 10 and it was packed. I imagine youāll need to camp out Saturday night for a Sunday morning seat....
