Do you want to eat some of my spit? Read further.
I am not happy. I guess because the manager isn't there today, and everything has went downhill. If they'd pay me enough, I'd be glad to be an assistant because they sure need another person who knows what they're doing. Me and ONE pizza maker used to run the ENTIRE Pizza Hut during the lunch buffet, so I don't understand how THIS MANY employees can't run ONE, SMALL restaurant! Although, I didn't make the pizza, I ran the entire Pizza Hut by myself, including cutting the pizzas, putting them on the buffet, running the pickup window, answering the phone and taking orders, PLUS getting drinks and removing plates for TWENTY-SIX tables! Why can't 5 or so employees run this restaurant???
Today, I got the most driest, burnt breadsticks ever with NO parmesan or anything, just burnt bread! I even posted a pic. Ugh! What a waste of money!
Not to mention, when I asked the girl behind the counter to remake it, she takes the breadsticks back, starts dabbing them with butter, and I ask her, "So, you're NOT going to remake them? PLUS, YOU'RE DABBING THE BUTTER BRUSH ALL OVER THE BREADSTICKS THAT I JUST BIT INTO." She didn't care...lol. She just placed the brush back into the butter, so I guess several people will be eating my spit today. Yum! And, you're welcome!
This place is so inconsistent! It goes from horrible, to great, to horrible again.
My last review from about a month ago was:
I left a negative review a few years ago about the restaurant being a chaotic nightmare because of teenagers they had running it. I quit going here because you would wait SO long and nothing was EVER right. Not to mention, the customer service was horrible.
Now, they have an outstanding new manager! She sets her employees straight and corrects them when they mess up, and she is big on customer service. If anything is wrong, she apologizes and goes above and beyond to correct the issue - and exceedingly so! She's quite impressive and could run circles around everyone else in there. She probably could run the whole place herself, if needed.
My only complaint is the prices. I used to grab lunch here at least a few days a week. I don't think I'll be able to eat here anymore for lunch because I can't afford an extra $15-$20 a week due to the new prices. The bread has increased by $2, the sauce by an extra $1 for 2, and the pizzas have increased. Everything's more and not like $0.25 or $0.50 increase, either. It's a HUGE increase! It makes a big difference even if you're ordering it for dinner a few times a month. My goodness! I've NEVER seen a restaurant do that big of a price hike! I'm really sad about it. No more Sanpeggio's Pizza for me for a while. Just when they were going in the right direction with the management, they take a nosedive again from hiking their...
Read moreLet me start out with I have loved this place for a long time. I have been going to San Pegio's for almost 20 years, back when they were only located off on hwy 150. My family orders 50 to 80 dollars worth of food every two-three weeks from the Trussville location. My wife placed our order online again today, thur their website provided link to Slice. I showed up when the order was supposed to be ready. Order was not ready and they said they have not received my order. I showed them the email invoice where I placed my order and paid for it. The manager told me I ordered thru the wrong service, that they no longer use Slice, then instructed me to cancel my order thru Slice and place my order thru a different site, doubling my total for the same food until the first order was cancelled and the bank caught up. Unfortunately, this is not my first bad experience with this store recently, this is not even the first time they have "not received" my already paid for order, I've also recently received both incomplete and incorrect orders, so I told him don't bother and left. My wife called to make sure they canceled my order and the manger tried to get an attitude with her. Well you have lost my business and I will not be back. And I will be sure to tell all my friends and family about...
Read moreCould not be more frustrated with the customer service ( or lack there of ). Walked in to order a pizza ( I was the only customer in the building ), young girl took my order. I asked how long and she said 15 minutes. I stepped out and came back 15 minutes later ( still only customer in the building ), sat at a table ( for another 5-10 minutes ) to wait on my order to come up. Finally went to counter, and the young lady said "what did you order?", I repeated my order, she called another guy over who found my ticket, they looked at each other and smiled and started making my pizza. At this time I asked if they had even stared my order. She said "sorry, the ticket got misplaced" at which time I said "I am the only customer here". She said "it will be a few minutes". I was in a time crunch due to having to pick my son up. I told her "I do not have an extra 15 minutes to wait, which is why I asked you how long it would take initially". She told me she was sorry and that she would give me a card for a free pizza, next time I come back. I told her thanks, but no thanks. Just a very, very disappointing experience. Unfortunately moving forward, I will spend my money at a larger pizza chain instead supporting a...
