eegee's — Restaurant in Tucson

We went today to try the new pickle 🥒 flavor Eegee's. Upon arrival there was a long line which went fairly quick. When it came to our turn to order the guy who took our order was not exasperated like most employees at fast food get when there are long lines. We told him we wanted to try the pickle flavor and would drive to the window, he kindly said "ok" we'll see you at window or something nice like that. At the window a very friendly blonde lady helped us. She had a huge smile, friendly, no rush, just a great employee providing great service ( and no tip was asked on 💳 machine, also no tacky tip jar was on window ledge 👍, it was a great experience). Okay so the 🥒 Eegee's caught my curiosity. I thought the potential sour taste would pair great with the Skinny Berry ( made with stevia, it's so good). We were given a taste of 🥒 flavor on spoon, I wasn't sure at first yet after the nice lady said many were ordering with tajin ( chili) and lime, I was sold. Subsequently, I ordered a pickle with Skinny Berry Eegees. The pickle Eegees tastes like a mild cucumber refreshing flavor ( definitely a summer flavor) paired with the Skinny Berry, with a packet of the tajin chili, it was fantastic. I would give the 🥒 flavor Eegee a score of 8.5 out of ten. We would like to try a grape and a coke zero ( coke products) flavor. We didnt order sandwiches this time, but this definitely is a great Eegee's location; they were fast, courteous, nice, friendly, professional, overall...

I've been going to eegees for years and never made a review. I almost always hit the drive through but I had to use the restroom (which is in fine condition). The recent review about wait times is something to be noted. I had a pleasant interaction with a kind woman. Think her name was catie? I don't hear so well but you can hear the smile in some folks. She knows what she's doin. Got my order knocked out. Bathroom. Then waited. And waited. For the amount of traffic this place gets I would think they could staff up a bit more. This clearly isn't the first review to notice the staffing issues? Idk but I would hope the manager would pay attention to this type of thing. No reason to give me anxiety of my short lunch break ending before I even get my food. Aside from that. Food is almost always consistent, thankfully. Fries are almost always good in my opinion. Eegees is one of those places you gotta take someone to if they are from out of town. However, I'm not totally sure if this would be the location. Not saying it needs a total overhaul but maybe needs a few more people to help on the customer demand. I'll check again in the future and update accordingly 🤜🤛 you can do it eegees be the cult classic we all hype...

Sorry I stopped at this location. Was 3 back in line and it took an excessive amount of time to be served. Only 1 person working the counter. In the meantime two employees were just standing around and chatting in the back. At the same time I was watching another employee filling a party pack for someone and she didn't have a cap or hairnet on so her hair kept sliding across the top of the bucket as she scooped the eegee's into it. Finally, get to the front of the line and then discover, after I hit the redeem option, that their scanner wasn't working. Didn't work for check-in either. Then the employee who was filling the party pack comes over to the employee at the register to ask her how to complete the party pack order.

I'll skip this location in the future and return to patronizing the location next to the Dairy Queen just east of the Grant/Kolb/Tanque Verde intersection. The staff there know what they're doing and are always a pleasure...
