Famous Sam's on Golf Links — Restaurant in Tucson

Ok so I ordered a 20 peace wing, wow let me tell you not nothing like before . idk what happened maybe it was the day or just the shift idk these wings were dry and rubbery old as if they were sitting and I got an old order that was that was not picked up or something idk I can not tell you ,but 30$ something for 20 wings is kinda pricey and you know if it is those days for that much wings ok but they better and should be fresh and rite out the oil these wings seems as if i got old batter and crumbs from the oil in it self that got added to the wings , man where’s the good service at now days us as paying customers just want good service that’s all we want what we pay for it’s all we want no I think the staff shouldn’t of let a order go out and then knowing it’s not fresh or been sitting they would not like it if they got that service them selves for sure . I’m very glad I didn’t tip I normally do but glad I didn’t this time famous Sam’s owners you should do something before the rest of the locations close this should be more then just some girls walking around in some short shorts and cleavage trying to get there tips let’s get it together hope there is some serious looking into how your stores...

The food was really good. We had mango habanero hot wings, mozz sticks, onion rings, fried mushrooms and zucchini. The smoked rib tips were too smoky, but everything else was great. The people we were sitting next to were super obnoxious, ignoring their young children until they acted up, then smacking them while discussing how much abuse would result in a DCS referral vs. how much you can get away with. They had an 8 year old sitting on the next row and completely ignored him until their three year old ran off, then sending their 8 year old to chase their young child all over. The louder drunks at the bar watching the fight were quieter and way less obnoxious, at least they were having fun! Something I didn't know about this place is the off track betting, there was a crowd of gamblers watching horse races near the door. You seat yourself, but the waitresses don't have assigned areas, they appeared to go round robin, so our waitress was running all over the place line the toddler and service was pretty slow. Actually, the four stars is all for the excellent bar food. Everything else...

A sports bar grill should have ok food and was pleased with the results. First off our waitress was really good at explaining the specials and taking our order. She returned several times checking on our drinks etc, very good service. My wife ordered the cod fish and fries. The cod was plentiful but tasteless as it seemed to be just frozen and fried up. We did get tartar sauce which livened the taste a bit. The French fries were fresh but not much taste. I ordered the Mushroom and Swiss Burger, it was surprisingly good, a little zing to it was unexpected but the burger was cooked well and very tasty. They do have military discounts 10%. The atmosphere is your average sports bar but more televisions than I have ever seen and every sport you wanted to watch. I would go back again but not to order the cod fish. We heard they have really good sandwiches so will have to visit again. Additionally this place is dimly lit and not much noise as some sports bars visited which was nice. Prices were good and saw people of all ages there 6...
