I Visited this location today and ordered the the chorizo skillet which was delicious the food here is always excellent i'll give them that. while i was waiting for my food to settle from the skillet i ate so that i may eat my hash browns the waitress offered me a to go box in which i responded no thank you. The waitress had to have been by every 30 seconds to ask me that same question. i was also trying to read my new book and kept getting the feeling that the staff wanted me gone. I didn't do anything to indicate any hostility whatsoever. It upsets me because i have been going to Jerry bob's locations since i was a child and it was always a great and comfortable family atmosphere. Unfortunately this time i felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome. I don't know maybe it's just this location but i can say with out a doubt that i am never eating at this location again. When i checked out i voiced my concern to the waitress in which she responded "Yeah there's just limited seating due to the pandemic". I wholeheartedly don't believe that's true and if it is that's just poor business practice. To try and rush people to eat and leave so that there is more open availability for new customers is unscrupulous. My Advise is don't come here if you're by yourself because only family's will get treated with more hospitality hence the name Jerry bob's "Family" restaurant. I give this location one star just based on the performance of the food. Other stars are not accounted just based on the lack of...
Read more12-28-22 The ONLY reason I gave one star was because the hash browns were good. My brother came in from Phoenix, my son & my other brother ate there today, my brother from PHX paid(I wouldn't have!!) After being ignored for 25 minutes after first cup of coffee, my brother from PHX got to the bottom of his coffee and there was a grape jelly sticker on the bottom of his cup. After waving down a server(it wasn't busy, they were bullshiting) she was snippy about it, saying"these things happen". We all are in the business, my brothers and I line cooked for decades, my son is currently a barista. She came back with a empty cup, showed it to him and asked if it was "acceptable", & said her dishwasher "ALMOST" never has things like this happen. But that's not all, my eggs, ordered over-medium, were over-easy, my brother also ordered over-medium, they were over-hard, my son's skillet, ordered over-medium, had one over-hard and one over-easy...I mean really, how does this even happen??(and it took 45 minutes to get our food!!) They took off one coffee. No standard here at all, the service, the food. And just a note, my brother used to cook FOR the man himself Jerry Bob back in the day at Livs, you have destroyed his legacy!! We will never go back, to any location, nor will anyone we know. You...
Read moreThis location USED to be my favorite one to come to.. always enjoyed it every time me and my family came. Haven’t been in a while, and definitely wish I would have chosen somewhere else to go. Apparently they are now under new management, with an owner who truly doesn’t care about his business. My hashbrows came in ONE solid square burnt to a crisp, and couldn’t even bite into them. My husband got biscuits and gravy, as he always does, with two small spoonfuls of gravy on top... anyone who eats biscuits and gravy knows that’s NOT how it usually comes, under the old management they would cover the whole plate with gravy. Upon asking for extra gravy, to make up for the dry over cooked biscuits the chick said it’ll be an extra charge! Um no thank you. She then later came back to ask how the food was, and as my husband replied with “dry”, her response is “good”. Since when is that a good thing???? Never once apologized, never offered to do anything to make the experience somewhat better, nothing. What a shame. Never going back to this location again, especially as I see we’re not the only unhappy customers who have gone there and the new “management” hasn’t done a thing...
