Burger Land — Restaurant in Tulare

I have never heard of Burgerland until tonight, I’m a truck driver here making a delivery off the side of the freeway. Drove for about six hours today and unfortunately, they didn’t bring anything to eat. Or I should say, fortunately, I didn’t bring anything to eat. I was hoping just to find a gas station, but instead I saw Burgerland on the same corner as where I was making my delivery. Once I parked my semi and got settled in, I went on over to get hopefully just a simple burger, but I got a lot more. As soon as I walked in, you felt the old school diner vibes, something you don’t see nowadays. Mean the late night there was not many people in there just myself and the workers. Very polite all the workers they patiently waited for me to look at the menu and I placed my order. I ended up getting the double Texas bacon burger With a large drink and curly fries and a chili cheese dog. The weight was not long at all, and the food came out amazing. The burger was a really great size cooked very well and the curly fries Very crunchy and very tasty. The thing I was most surprised about was The chili cheese dog. I really wasn’t expecting a lot from this, but that was probably my favorite part. Well, that’s a lie, the best part was once I got my order the owner came up to me and said, would you like a free ice cream? I said absolutely we started talking telling him about how I’m a truck driver and he knew a lot more than I would’ve expected and I had a really great conversation with him. He was very humble and very kind and it simple things like that. You just don’t find anymore with people. My visit here was as a great experience from start to when I finished with my friends. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. Nice 50's diner decor and the food is outstanding! Try the Texas Santa Fe Ortega Chili burger and the onion rings are so good. Yes they have homemade buttermilk ranch!
